Catastrophe, what catastrophe? The same board that is insured against Pandemic’s.

From where I stand if league reconstruction happens and that results in Hearts not being relegated then they’ve pretty much played a blinder. The last thing the club would’ve wanted would’ve been Hearts relegated into our league for next season blowing us out the water financially and no doubt running away with the league. Hearts not getting relegated, the filth not having their day in the sun winning the league, not having to endure the last derby with them already having won the league, Inverness getting promoted leaving us with a very good shot at promotion in 12 months time, what’s not to like. Pretty decent outcome for the loss of promotion playoffs this season I’d say.

The view of the Board was that 'points per game' was the fairest way of ranking clubs when clubs had played different numbers of matches."

......and yet the Juniors and kid’s football have decided the fairest way was to null and void their seasons and therefore not to have promotions or relegations.  It’s amazing the difference in opinions.............when TV money doesn’t corrupt thinking.
You have been boring everyone with the same patter for weeks. United are promoted, fuckin get over it eh

Actually, going by Elo Thistle were more likely than not to avoid last place.

ICT fans aren't greeting because they know that they've more chance of promotion with league reconstruction than if the season finishes as usual.

Ayr fans are taking the opportunity to bleat through stifled tears about how much they're totally over their ex.

Dundee fans are trying to deflect from their board's catastrophe by running around the forum claiming others are on the verge of tears.

Dundee United fans, having been denied a fitting celebration to a championship victory, are thrashing about, attempting to find an opponent who actually gives a f**k about them.

Dunfermline and Arbroath fans are the only good c***s in this.

Worth mentioning a League One chairman, today, mentioned theres a Scottish club who were under the impression they were insured who have now ended up in a battle with the insurance company who are arguing the claim.

Is that not Aberdeen? Been pretty widely documented.

ETA: Aye, it is. https://www.afc.co.uk/2020/03/26/aberdeen-football-club-urges-insurers-to-do-the-right-thing/

We're still completely fine.

Typical of Thistle fans at the mo your post reads like TheDiary of Horace Wimp. But which song did you have in mind?  McCall’s no Wild West Hero, and after the Confusion of Sweet Talking Woman turning into Evil Woman it’s about time you accepted It’s Over.  Sing Don't Bring Me Down all you like, but prepare yourselves for The Fall. No more Mr Blue Sky for a while!

Eye thenk yew.......

So, when is this all-singing, all-dancing, going to put the whole world to rights, amazing, super-duper Task Force going to report back then?

We then need to factor in the two weeks of deciding which member of the Bigot Brothers is more pissed off and whether or not it will pass, then a four week period for a botched voting process to be worked through before we can actually start to implement any decision made, time is marching on...

If Dundee fans could get back to us when the payment is in the bank from the insurers that would be great.

East Fife Club Statement

'East Fife do have Business Interruption insurance, including closure for diseases, however, when we enquired about this last week, we were advised that we would not be covered by that insurance as the stadium hadn’t been closed due to an incident of this coronavirus on the premises.'

Looks like that along with Aberdeen the insurance company is reneging on the policy.

A lot of businesses have reported this. It's most likely not the insurer reneging, but the clubs not having read the policy details.

How long do you think it takes insurers to stump up huge sums of cash normally, never mind during a wider economic collapse? The chances are most businesses will have to take their claims to the ombudsman to adjudicate; if the government sticks to its word (in March) about pressing insurers to fulfil even standard business disruption clauses then they've got a chance though.
