What goalposts? The SPFL havent made it clear what type of vote is required, simply a journalist who says the majority of lower league sides are in favour.

Qualified Resolution means, in relation to those Reserved Matters referred to in Article 62, a resolution of the Company at a General Meeting, of which notice has been duly given in accordance with these Articles, and which requires the support of not less than 90% of the Members owning and operating Clubs entitled for the time being to be the members of Division One; 75% of the Members owning andoperating Clubs entitled for the time being to be the members of Divisions One and Two; and 75% of the Members owning and operating Clubs entitled for the time being to be the members of Divisions One, Two, Three and Four, whether all the Members of the Company actually attend and vote or not, to be passed;

Ordinary Resolution means a resolution of the Company at a General Meeting, which is not a special resolution, Qualified Resolution or Commercial Resolution, of which notice has been duly given in accordance with these Articles, and which requires the support of not less than each of: (i) 75% of the Members owning and operating Clubs entitled for the time being to be the members of Division One; (ii) 75% of the Members owning and operating Clubs entitled for the time being to be the members of Division Two; and (iii) 75% of the Members owning and operating Clubs entitled for the time being to be the members of Divisions Three and Four, whether all the Members of the Company actually attend and vote or not, to be passed;

Commercial Resolution means, in relation to those Reserved Matters referred to in Article 63, a resolution at a General Meeting, of which notice has been duly given in accordance with these Articles, and which requires the support of not less than 66% of the Members owning and operating Clubs entitled for the time being to be the members of Division One, whether all the Members owning and operating Clubs actually attend and vote or not, to be passed and in the vote on such a resolution only Members owning and operating Clubs entitled for the time being to be the members of Division One may participate;

Oh I thought you meant they all sat down in a room - as in each clubs chairman. Not just some. My mistake.

Ive just seen screenshots of Rangers fans complaining that this is just a ***** ****** conspiracy to gift Celtic the title. As much as I think passing this would be wrong, Id vote for it now just to annoy these 72 IQ pointed morons.

Theyve had multiple discussions with the clubs and this is what theyve decided to present though?

Theres been at least two meetings between all the chairmen, the SPFL havent just plucked this proposal out their arse.

27th march and yesterday all clubs through the spfl were contacted and the full proposals were put to all clubs only the spfl/Sfa board members met face to face on those dates . but all member club's of the spfl did speak yesterday but the talks did continue this morning between the clubs and the powers of the spfl . my views are the prospect of it getting votes through are slim so many grey areas on it . it should have been a two level vote with reconstruction in the vote now not later down the line .

So they just change the way the vote works then without informing the clubs? Sounds like you're reaching.

That's not what you said. You said all 42 chairman.

😂 42 clubs/chairmen/chairwomen, it's all the same.

All 42 clubs have discussed the situation twice and this the proposal being put to a vote.

They havent announced anything about how the vote works either way.

So any normal person would think voting needs to reflect the rules stated within?

Youre fucking mental.

Are you really willing to die on the hill that says the SPFL have changed the way they vote on things for this vote?

Jeezo.

Don’t you have a “Who will be the next Prime Minister?” Thread to organise?

Is it not automatically Raab, should Boris pass? You're more politically motivated than I, I wouldn't even know the list of contenders!

The same rules that state that voting structure, state that the 19/20 Premiership season cannot be ended until 38 games are played.

I'm saying that until its explicitly said by the SPFL, and not a journalist who's looked up the rules, you cant say that those rules are concrete.

The same journalist, FWIW, is saying the voting structure is Premiership, Championship, then League One and Two combined.

Why would they merge two divisions to make it a 3 way vote rather than a 4 way vote, if they weren't wanting to use the 2v1 get out at some point?
