Pareidolia
Though in KRR's announcement of Kevin McGoldrick being "promoted" to Head of Football Operations and Danny Ferry taking over as Manager, the club saying that Kevin "will align everyone with the Club's vision for the future as we move to a new phase in its history" makes me wonder what that's all about.
Andy groundhopper
'Wonder if the community stadium is being fully used, booked up 24/7 -and whether KRR will end up playing elsewhere, leaving behind the 'white elephant' turning into a loss making situation. Yet another situation where the owners/council's almost seem to dislike football clubs etc.

Are there plans to put any stands in? It was previously an old sand based Astro run by the council. It closed years ago. It was upgraded and reopened in June 2021 VICs In The Community have taken over the lease of the facility and VICs play their games there. Temporary changing rooms are in place however work should start in January after the warrants have been approved, the upgrade will cost in the region of £330,000. There are plans for a seated stand once the the pavilion has been completed. The pavilion will meet club licence standards therefore it is the aspirations that the club will aim for full licence in forthcoming years. Ginaro
No Beith thread but they've applied for planning permission for floodlights (only 200lux with one at each corner but enough for entry level), so if everything else has been sorted in the meantime it could mean a licence in the spring. https://www.ayrshire-today.co.uk/news/23977356.beith-juniors-plans-lodged-bellsdale-park-floodlights/ https://www.eplanning.north-ayrshire.gov.uk/OnlinePlanning/applicationDetails.do?activeTab=documents&keyVal=S2Z7TQLEJXG00 Ground ownership issue not actually sorted as no more information can be found about the trust that was wound up, but seems like they can go ahead anyway. Good stuff-but how are they going to be able to get permission from the owners of the ground to do the work on the ground as tenants?
glensmad
I really hope Beith are able to secure their Licence, the club is extremely well run and they deserve the opportunity to progress. One stumbling block (hopefully not) could be proving security of tenure, which for us at Glencairn involved sending copies of the Land Register and the title deeds to the stadium. If there is a debate over who actually owns Bellsdale then that may be difficult. But as I said, hopefully not.
PossilYM
Good luck to Beith on the licence front. Strange one playing in a ground nobody knew or probably cared who the original and turns out, present owners were. No doubt a few old Junior clubs sharing the land ownership gig. The Wosfl Blazers really can't afford for a third year in a row to look like laughable incompetent circus clowns trying to work out how to take part in a football pyramid.

If the key is security of tenure then the lease from the council is likely enough if lawyers have now determined that there's no danger of the "gentlemen of Beith" who formed the trust raising any objections. If the legal advice was that the trust has been long since wound up because said gentlemen are all dead then hopefilly that's a red herring at this point and it's no different from any other club with a ground leased from the local council doing licensing.
Dev
I hope that Beith's Licence application was already in before the clamp down on applications by the SFA. Is there a legal way by which, in the absence of an owner or owners, in the place of The Gentlemen of Beith, Beith could become legal owners due to them having occupied the land for so long?
