There is one prominent Scottish football twitter account that goes full on Sevco mode and has often has us bottom alphabetically being called ‘The Rangers’. Gives me a wee chuckle.

Ann Budge is already.on record as saying relegation would cost them £3 million so where does the £8 or £5 million come from? She's pulled it out of her arse. Just like the reconstruction ideas and everything else she's tried to use to keep Hearts from being relegated for being shite all season.

DA Baracus
I could see a figure of £4M being awarded to Hearts and Partick, but not each, to be split. This figure would include payment for legal costs. I think it would be incredibly unlikely though, just not impossible, whereas sums like £4M each or any other nonsense figure north of that that has been mentioned I see as never happening. I'm unsure if they'll be awarded anything at all, but doubt it would be high as £2M for each team if they did get any 'compensation'.

I don't, and I can't see how that would be acceptable to either party. I think there might be a nominal payment, just simply to reflect that the season was ended early, but I'd be amazed if it was anywhere above £1m with courts costs shared.

You see, I just feel arbitration will take the view that Hearts actually have a valid argument, when legally it could easily be ruled against. From that point on it's just taking the view of how much weight their argument has. We'll need to wait and see though. I'd say it's a snowball's chance in hell of them reversing their relegation though.
