Some are explaining that this is because he came from a pre-approved list compiled by the corrupt SPFL. Also, several continuing with the theme that "It's no fair" is an important point of law. Some great legal minds on JKB. Unfortunately for them they are learning the hard way that whipping each up in a frenzy in an echo chamber convincing each other of corruption is not a point of law. 3 QC's looking at the evidence and coming to a unanimous decision is.

This was just a distraction and now that’s as good as over the inquisition will start. They'll have to stop behaving like they're victim fc first, they're still distracted from Budge's stewardship having them bottom of the league with the 3rd largest budget by raging how unfair it is that they keep losing every single fucking battle. Like being bottom of the league, at some stage you have to admit it isn't just down to bad luck/everyone is corrupt that you're sitting there, these c***s are still in denial though.

He did bill this as the 'independent investigation' Rangers and Hearts wanted so I fully expect him to stand down and admit he made an absolute noel hunt of it backing the wrong horse and the SPFL has been cleared of wrongdoing. Not going to happen. He will just blab on about unfairness and the SPFL should have sorted it out.

Are they? Every humiliating defeat just moves the frenzied echo chamber onto another set of echoes. "Daniel Stendel will turn us into a team of maroon Messis" -> "At least we'll beat St Mirren" -> "The SPFL vote will save us" -> "Reconstruction will save us" -> "The Rangers Dossier will discredit the SPFL and save us" -> "Reconstruction 2 will save us" -> "The Court of Session will save us" -> "Arbitration will save us" -> "Our appeal against arbitration will save us" etc etc... I'm not sure it'll ever stop.

We never knew this until we got this result. It still does not detract from the fact that Hearts and Partick Thistle have been very unfortunate in the way that they were relegated. Tom English was very wrong to expect football clubs not to act in complete self interest. We all know what to expect going forward now, no more talk of some bullshit football family. Disappointing but really glad it's all over now. Yup and I think there was some sympathy at the start of the process but Budgie started off on the back foot with her previous comments about "too many clubs" and sealed the deal by insisting on reconstruction being for one or two seasons only, she led the reconstruction panel it was up to her to come up with a solution that benefitted more than the relegated teams - I hate to agree with Bill Leckie but she "totally misread the room".

Disappointing but really glad it's all over now. I think that was just naivety, Hearts did exactly the same thing, the reconstruction was all about Budge and Hearts, her sound bites about reconstruction in the past were very different. I don’t blame Hearts or any other club looking after themselves, that’s just business. However the line that reconstruction was all about saving Scottish football and other clubs was frankly nonsense. She tried to push it forward right in the middle of a pandemic rather than waiting which tells you everything. AndyDD
Big thanks to Hearts, their moonhowler supporters and their wee Renfield pals at Firhill for keeping us all amused between the end of last season and the impending start of 2020/2021 on Saturday. Has been top drawer entertainment and more fun than any of the closed door Fitba' that has been on in the meantime. Just think, lads; the BBC documentary will let us relive the journey all over again. All we need now are those tear-stained, hand wringing, shirt rending, De-fucking-licious statements.
