Aberdeen vs Rangers - 1st of August

Recommended Posts

It does feel weird even thinking about proper football being back on the go, I’m not sure how to cope.

A definite advantage for our unwashed, Palaeolithic visitors playing with no home crowd, and I suspect with this being the first game back the tempo will be lacking quite a bit. It’s hard to imagine one of these games being quiet or flat, but I’m not expecting some of the incident we often see and think it will be quite tight.

Prediction: (Ferguson) 1-1 (Arfield). One of McKenna and Morelos to get sent off for an off-the-ball incident involving the two.

P.s. Considine to snap J**k please

ETA: 17:30 on a Saturday? Hard to imagine that getting approved normally. Can imagine a few of the pubs might be a bit ‘rowdy’ by that point.

Tragic patter, yet unsurprising.

Why tragic?

What do you mean? It’s a common phrase to describe something that’s overused, been done to death or, is just not that funny.

they said Durrant would never play again yet a mere three years later he was back kicking a ball for the teddy gers, so never say ever eh

Most other players would have run that off after a few minutes.

Kent suspended for this after his red card tonight?

No, SevCo are getting advantages before the season kicks off.

Seems like there is an opportunity to bypass the system and not have players suspended if an agreement can be made for the relevant authority not to report it officially.

Frankly, it would be utterly daft for a red card in a friendly to count towards league bans. That's a nonsense.

As is the amended kickoff time, from the perspective of a potential viewer.
