PauloPerth
Job well done. Scored rakes of goals, clean sheet and a win. Hat trick for a striker, well needed minutes for Booth, Bryson and Rooney, and a decent debut for a youngster. Tough for Brechin, who looked very poor; but first two competitive matches in 7 months and both against Premiership teams a quarter of the way through their season is a big ask. Wish them all the best for the season ahead. Right, when did we last score 7 in a competitive match? @Ludo*1 @Chewing Taffies Or have we done it since??

You beat Peterhead 7-0 in 2002 but think that was a friendly. Happy to help.

Last time was a 9-1 at Hamilton in March 1994. Our biggest margin of victory since the year we reached the League Cup final, an 8-1 sectional win at Firhill in 1969.
RossBFaeDundee
I'm hearing United had their keeper up for a corner to try and get their first shot on target in order to grab a last minute equaliser against Peterhead at home. Radford
As said, that was about as comfortable a game as Saints have had in a long time. 35 shots and it really should have been double figures. Not much you can take from the performance but a shot of confidence. Was impressed by Rooney's intelligent delivery from the right and their centre backs couldn't track May at all, he could have had three goals within about the first 7 minutes. Feel for Brechin who look like this season will be as much of a struggle as the last one.

Means we'll know what we need in Peterhead regardless of the Utd result. We have done this before without gaining anything from it. Certainly a good start to competitive games can hopefully do the same when league points are at stake.
Steve McQueen
If Utd beat Kelty & us they'd have 9 points too? If we beat Peterhead we're through, regardless of Uniteds results.

RandomGuy.
Bit slow, but just realised we scored more goals today than in the entire group stage last season.
