I remember Van Nistelrooy, after about our seventieth successive abject surrender against Man U, saying that "Villa Park was a tough place to go" and some journalist replying "yeah, cos the traffic's bad". It's not so much limited resources but the financial model at hand. If they are going to spend big on a player then they only do this on the guys who have resale value.

Uncle Psychosis
It's quite something to see people argue that a team that spent somewhere in the region of £70m on a goalkeeper has limited resources.

In their defence, up until recently he was quite good.

SANTAN
I'm sorry to make you guys aware but Martin Tyler's breathing down the mic is horrible. Good assist from Werner there.

He’s struggled this season but tonight he has been the best player on the park. Hope he can kick on from here, such a talented player

I’d expect this will build his confidence.

He would come back a better player
craigkillie
This has been by far the worst commentary performance of the entire season, and I include the likes of McManaman and Jenas in that. Tyler and Hinchcliffe are constantly introducing their shite opinions to literally everything from team selection to VAR to transfer policies to fucking turf around the pitch. How about just telling us what's happening on the park?
