Great finish from young Liam Newton for our goal. Very silly penalty to give away. 1-1 seems fair so far. And aye, some pace on the lad Duku. Apart from his roasting Pat Slattery for pace early on, we've dealt with him reasonably well. As Hank predicted early on, after that early run the East Fife defence dropped and made sure Manny always had to run at them rather than with them. Unfortunately, the domination of our midfield in the subsequent space never materialised. Credit to the Fife midfield for that, I suppose.
Raith Against The Machine
Judging by the head in the hands, I don't think Duku knew he was offside there. The failure to get that on target is... not a great omen.
Ro Sham Bo
We've had a decent spell and look on top at the moment without really looking like much of a threat.
Hank Scorpio
We’re a lot more dominant now, moving the ball in the final third a lot better. East Fife going more direct. Be interesting to see how our defence copes.
King Kebab
Rovers had their wee spell there, Dunsmore on now, always good for a goal against the Rovers!!!
Hank Scorpio
Fucking hell. Tumilty with basically an open goal and didn’t connect properly with his shot. Has to be a goal.
Michael W
Duku up front on his own isn't working. Granted he might not be having a good game I'm also far from. Convinced he has enough in his locker to carry out such a role effectively.

King Kebab
Poor goal to lose defensively but a good finish!!!
Raith Against The Machine
Manny Duku - deadly from three yards. Never in doubt. Would need to see it again, but the decision from the defender to overhead kick the second ball clear there looks very silly indeed.
CALDERON
Deserved that in the end, finished both halves strongly.
Hank Scorpio
Always nice to beat East Fife. Stream was very good, a few wee bits of buffering which was to be expected. Quick refresh and away again - well done to Raith TV!
Raithie
Routine win against subpar opposition.
CALDERON
The wee preview video was buffering, but used an ethernet cable and it was flawless.
fifer67
Big decisions went against us just wish the manager could have played the experimental line up on Tuesday against Cowden and played our strongest team today. Good game time for the fringe players.
Ro Sham Bo
A better second half. Not convinced Duku has the ability to hold the ball up well enough to play the line front man role but he was in the right place for the goal which is what matters. Besides all that, it was just great to be able to watch us play and celebrate a winning goal. I cannot wait to get back to a match.

Broken Algorithms
Good way to kick off the competitive games. We had to be really patient at times but overall deserved the win. There are a lot of positives to take from the game: Ethan Ross looked very lively at points and Dylan Tait was outstanding. It was good to see Duku open his account in a competitive game. He seems like a real handful with a combination of pace and an ability to bring others into the game. Armstrong had a poor game and there were a few issues with the defence, but overall it didn't matter. Tuesday will be a completely different game. I'd be delighted if we can take a point away to Hearts but I'd imagine they'll want to go for broke against us.
