I suspect he simply can’t conceive how this hasn’t gone his way since he’s thrown all the usual tools such as money, connections and bullying and threats, behind it. This is probably the first thing in a long time that he’s really wanted and simply can’t have no matter what he tries. Hedgecutter
Anybody with an accurate picture of how Arizona is likely to finish? Alien attack. I've seen the films and they always appear around Arizona (or New Mexico) first.

He has spent his life not paying bills and sueing people. He has not only no interest in the truth - he has very little grasp of it as a concept. I think his narcissism is clinical. He has a very unusual psychological make up. He is genuinely incapable of accepting any notion of defeat. This reaction is the only one he can possibly muster. Sorry if he's been mentioned before on this thread, but does anyone remember Robert Maxwell? An utter fraud/bully/litigious b*****d who would sue people at the drop of a hat. He was arguably the British Trump (without the rise to power obviously). Just struck me tonight that Trump reminds me of him. As for Trump, how can a man with no empathy, morals or dignity rise to the top in American politics? (oops, think I've answered my own question)

Sometimes it is not even an attack. Just spores that drift in from outer space, take over people's bodies and make them act strange. Might explain why there are so many people who voted for Trump.

(oops, think I've answered my own question) Maxwell was similar to be sure. Trump was the man who looked like he could blow up the system that had been shafting ordinary workers for decades, especially since 2008, a total disrupter, nothing like the politicians they were used to. Unfortunately they chose a snake oil salesman who shafted them even more, and the Democrat machine conspired to stop them getting a better choice. Got to say, given all the numbers and the demographics, as much as I would have wanted him to win I think Saunders would have lost that election. He's a north-eastern uber-liberal Jew would could easily be painted in the US as a socialist. Biden won because he brought back enough white men in the Upper Midwest and the margins in too many states were painfully small. I don't think Saunders would have got over the line in Wisconsin, Michigan, Arizona and probably not Pennsylvania.

Hilary Clinton was a disastrous pick for that time.

Hedgecutter
Have secret feelings of insecurity, shame, vulnerability and humiliation Can't remember exactly who it was, but I can certainly remember a documentary with a former advisor/pa/whatever who said that he was clearly an insecure individual, in constant need of attention. You can be sure he doesn't live the happy luxurious life that he's desperate for everyone to envy.Being laughed by the majority of little people for any period of time beyond this may genuinely break him.

"It's not known what causes narcissistic personality disorder. As with personality development and with other mental health disorders, the cause of narcissistic personality disorder is likely complex. Narcissistic personality disorder may be linked to: Environment ― mismatches in parent-child relationships with either excessive adoration or excessive criticism that is poorly attuned to the child's experience Genetics ― inherited characteristics Neurobiology — the connection between the brain and behavior and thinking" Think the first of those plays a part, and on top of that he was handed hundreds of millions of dollars, confirming his belief that he was entitled to greatness. https://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/americas/us-politics/donald-trump-abuse-father-niece-book-mary-child-a9606656.html Still a total p***k, of course.
