Not sure if (Championship side) Dundee fans are at the wind up about Shankland or if they believe it.

If they’re at the wind up fair enough.

If they believe it then they don’t understand the situation.

With your apparent understanding of the situation how much do you think Shankland is currently worth?  You may wish to use the fee Hibs paid Dunfermline for Nisbet as a benchmark.

It would have to be some good long play wind up considering we have been saying it since he was at Ayr.

I wouldn’t go so far as to say that about Shankland but I can understand why you are so disappointed and upset with Shankland.  Like many of your fellow United fans you are simply upset that Shankland’s significant deficiencies are being so brutally highlighted in the Scottish Premiership

That wasn't very nice from Morelos imo. Are Rangers finally going to punt him in January ?

Tavernier is having a good season but he's no Paul McGinn.

With Brexit only days away from completion I see you're using the opportunity to reopen Leith as a fishing port:

Would anyone have the XG stats?

I was curious about this so I looked it up.

Wyscout has it as 1.7 - 0.52 in Rangers favour. So pretty comfortable really. We average around 2xG difference in our games, so it was closer than the usual game, but not really close enough to put us in jeopardy of dropping points.

0.43 of Dundee United's 0.52 came from that corner in the ninth minute that we didn't clear. So from open play they generated 0.09xG (and scored from that). They didn't generate anything after the thirty-third minute.

Wyscout is one of the more inaccurate data providers, but it's good enough for basic analysis like this.

So rounding to the nearest whole number it ends up 2-1. Sounds about right.

That's not quite how it works, but you're close enough. From a Rangers perspective, I think "controlled" is the right word to use for the game.

Rangers would be a very mediocre team without tavernier. They would likely be hovering round 3rd place id wager.

I was expecting a good team from the way some of the support have been going on.

No fishing just was genuinly expecting more from you after some of the stuff said.

I think saying Rangers would be mediocre and sitting in 3rd position without one player probably constitutes as fishing or extreme hyperbole. One of the two.

Without the right back who is on a rich vein of attacking form along with penalty and free kick conversions, I'd expect your team to be top, but most of that would be down to your management team being less mediocre than Celtic's. Think there must be someone who has the brains in the background at Ibrox, because Gerrard and McAllister don't come across as geniuses.

Think I said earlier in the match thread that Tavenier strikes me as a wing back rather than a competent defender, but your side has a wealth of options in midfield. I wish United had a player 25% as competent as him in crossing the ball/hitting a dead ball.

I think our coaching team work well together as a collective but I think it's accepted that Michael Beale is our tactical guru.
