DiegoDiego
Beyonce by a mile. Katy Perry was garbage, Lady Gaga wasn't as good as it should have been, Coldplay were surprisingly decent. Most have been pretty average.
Lambie's Pigeon Feed
Bruce Springsteen was a good halftime show and I also really liked that game in 2009, Steeelers edging the Cardinals with Larry Fitz giving Arizona their first lead late in the 4th before Holmes caught the winner for Pittsburgh.
RiG
This was my first Super Bowl. My Dad recorded it, possibly across two VHS tapes To emphasise the difference between then and now John Taylor, who caught the winning TD pass from Montana, sold cars in the off season to make extra money. What are the chances of that happening now...? Edited February 2, 2021 by RiG
PB1994
Shakira and J-Lo. The only Super Bowls I have watched were the last two so it wasn’t difficult to pick between them or Maroon 5.

Boo Khaki
I'm just going to maintain a dignified silence about half-time shows. Ok, Prince covering the Foo Fighters was cool, and 2003 show was memorable for me being in SD. Shania Twain was really good despite not being my type of music at all, and No Doubt sounded ropey but the energy and performance got the place going. Apart from that, nothing sticks in the mind except the years where it's just been a flat 'nope' and insta-muted. Plenty of those. Mr. Brightside
I'm looking forward to the half-time show this year, for the first time since 2010 probably.

Todd_is_God
I don't think they sound great on the telly sometimes. I was in Miami in 2010 for The Who. Was absolutely excellent in the stadium, but sounded less than great on TV.
CountyFan
Springsteen was the best halftime show.

NathanQP
You can get GamePass for only 99p atm if you can’t be arsed with BBC/Sky. I got it cause I thought it would be good to watch the game with the proper adverts.

Brummie Clyde
Other than having the Monday off work, it does just feel like a massive celebration of NFL.Unless the Patriots win [emoji35]

Fuctifano
It really would be miles better on a Saturday, wouldn't it? Suspect it's too much of a tradition now. As I'm working from home at the moment I'm going to tough it out on limited sleep on Monday.

I make a banging chilli as it is, but always happy to take further direction. Lupe Pintos is a Mexican deli in Glasgow and Edinburgh. Recipe as posted by Fuctifano. Their chorizo is outstanding, but the recipe is solid. Always tend to use braising steak instead of mince.

Pretty sure it was discussed a few years back but quickly muted by the NFL. I have already booked the next 3 Superbowl Monday's off (including this one) Edited February 3, 2021 by Antiochas III
pozbaird
Going to be a bummer on Monday when the season is over. Been one of my most pleasurable things to help get through lockdown. Sitting down in front of the TV glued to all the games. The standard of play has been superb. The intensity has been relentless. Lots of memorable games and performances. Credit to everyone involved to even get the season played, much less played to such an exciting conclusion.
