Funky Nosejob
Whilst in no way attempting to claim any moral high ground, and accepting all culpability for putting his photo into the thread in the first place, some of the comments being made about a 3 year old child seem excessive. TheScarf
There’s no way the dad is only 33. He’s had them there.
tongue_tied_danny
It's as if the father and the bin man are having a contest to see who can be the scummiest arsehole.
Jambomo
The whole lot of them seem like arseholes tbh. Apart from the innocent, now decapitated snowman - he’s the real victim here.

Popular Post Dunning1874
Quite apart from the specifics of this incident, you just know that anyone who installs CCTV on their own suburban home is a complete w****r. The parents are definitely died in the wool Tories who think anyone doing manual labour is beneath them, but would probably jump at doing it once just to get the joy of being a scab if the opportunity ever arose. They're absolutely delighted at the attention they're getting and happy to exploit their own child to do that. Which does us bring onto the point that the child is three years old for f**k's sake. He probably saw the snowman wasn't intact in the morning and had a wee greet, exactly as he would have when it inevitably melted the same day anyway, then forgot about it within 10 minutes. Instead they're plastering him all over the national press, getting a reporter and photographer out to scrape the remnants of the snow up from the street, move it in front of the house and plant a carrot on top then make him pose with it. Whatever their reason for that is it's certainly not about protecting their son's feelings. The binman's crime is being a bit daft. He shouldn't have done it but it's an absolute joke that he's lost his job and the only apology that's merited here is from the bootlicking Tory creeps using their child to satisfy their need for attention, for shopping an employee to his bosses using the cameras they've installed to spy on their neighbours.

It will probably be a Ring doorbell. Although the guy works in IT and quite a few of my fellow IT professionals seem to enjoy setting up intricate networks of security cameras, lights and (probably) robot attack dogs around their home.
Sergeant Wilson
It's all about expectations. Expect the binmen to get the lorry in and out without damaging cars and get most of the rubbish in to the back of it. Job done. They seem to expect some kind of council Uncle Remus, whistling Zippity Doo Dah and chatting to the animate and inanimate creatures he encounters on his minimum wage round and God help him if he doesn't meet that expectation.
Mark Connolly
Wonder what reaction "That's a lovely snowman, but sadly it's blocking access to the bin, so we can't empty it, let's just move on" would have got? Also, the father is an IT consultant with multiple CCTV cameras surrounding the house. He's dodgy as f**k.

welshbairn
The least the binman could have done was to rebuild it.
