There is now a pile up for 9th spot and we are top of the pile, need to stay there.
RiG
We had an encouraging opening 30 minutes against Hearts but everything after that has been absolutely abysmal. We are sleepwalking towards relegation. I would not be at all surprised if Buckie put us out of the Scottish Cup. We have already had a stupid run of games and we play Saturday / Tuesday or Wednesday for all of March I think. Our squad isn't the biggest and the guys we do have available will be absolutely burst. A "new" manager trying to instil his philosophy into players who are clearly struggling with it when we don't have the time to adapt to this kind of change and he can't bring in players who can play that way. It has all the hallmarks of another chapter in the Inverness CT banter years.
Colkitto
Great and well needed 3 points. Thought we defended really well when we needed to and scored a decent goal. Sterling looks like an actual striker that we have so badly missed this season.

Rudolph Hucker
Well done guys, a great three points - suddenly were back up to sixth (and ICT drop to ninth). Funny ol’ game, innit? .......innit?? -
The Ghost of B A R P
We are a strange team. Couldn’t kick our own arses against a nervous Ayr side on Saturday... then stroll up to a place where we usually get gubbed and win. Mon the fuckin Ton, eh? Delighted Nesbitt got a goal: that’s the sitter against Alloa written off; another on Saturday and we can forget the QOS sitter and start being nice to him again. Delighted also that Sterling might just have something... cos we need something up front above all else. Btw, did I say mon the fuckin Ton? Dunning1874
An absolutely massive three points. A defeat tonight would have had us in real danger of being cut adrift in 9th. Instead we're now right in the fight, we've got a bit of a cushion over Alloa and we've confirmed ICT's place in the relegation battle. The fact we actually deserved to win it rather than scraping it out of nowhere is encouraging too. That's a midfield to persist with, Nesbitt getting a goal will hopefully be the catalyst to turn his form around and Sterling looked an improvement on our other forward options in his first start. I'd still bite your hand off for 8th, but things are looking a lot less gloomy than they did two hours ago. If we didn't win this you had no idea where one would come from; now the players can have some belief that they're capable of seeing games out.
vikingTON
A not even remotely expected result, but it's no surprise that we're not as fucking dogshit as soon as Blues is punted out of the team. Hopefully his big mate Hopkin will whisk him off to Ayr with the rest of his haddy signings.
RandomGuy.
63% possession and a 1-0 loss. Classic McCann.
Jamie_M
This dog ain't dead yet. Massively unexpected, especially up there and a brilliant job holding out, the heart in mouth moment excepted. Boy did we need that. Play your better players, win games of football. It's not fucking rocket science. Massive result to keep ahead of Alloa. Still big danger of 9th but we have something to try and build on. On to Dunfermline. Doubt Anton can pull the same result against them again but the fact he is more than likely to stick with the same team gives us a chance. PS: 3 fucking cheers for Neil McCann, doing a Sterling job.

alsy
Before McCann came in we were already lacking invention and anyone capable of putting the ball in the net, and we were always prone to lose opponents and cheap goals at the back, but it does feel like there's been a further draining of confidence since he arrived. Scott Allardice, who's been our best player this season, looks like he doesn't want the ball any more; David Carson, who lifted the whole team when he came back against Ayr a few weeks ago, has been a headless chicken the last couple of games. In terms of McCann 'imposing his style' on the team, that seems to have amounted to asking two flat-footed, error-prone centre-halves to play tippy-tappy passes with a keeper who's a good shot stopper but has never looked confident with the ball at his feet, before launching it; I can't see how that inspires any of the players' confidence in themselves or in the manager. Any team in this division watching a tape of tonight's game would feel entirely confident that they could beat us, and given that we're now sitting in ninth, have made a c**t of just about all of our games in hand, and have 1 win in 12 league games, relegation looks the most likely outcome. I'd be happier if McCann just cut his losses, accepted it hadn't worked and let the players get on with it under Barry Wilson, Ryan Esson and Charlie Christie, but I've a feeling we're going to have to put up with him and his raincoat and furrowed brow telling us that he can't do anything with the shite he's been asked to work with for several more winless weeks, as we slide towards the seaside and part-time football.
Bigmouth Strikes Again
You lot were well warned about Gardiner and McCann, a pair of absolute chancers, good luck now, you're going to need it. Thank you.
