SLClyde
3-0 win to Clyde as east fife chose not to fulfil. Only option.
CM.
Is that a forfeit then? 3-0 Clyde? -
Harry Haddock
Great win tonight.Thank you East Fife. -
Bully Wee Villa
Just now, C. Muir said: Is that a forfeit then? 3-0 Clyde? This would be brilliant. Three-nil Clyde win and much more rested than Forfar and Dumbarton for our remaining games!
Bully Wee Clyde FC
IF and only IF EF have refused to play going against the SFA's official recommendation, that might be a quite different outcome...
haufdaft
Surely a refusal to play should be a 3-0 forfeit. -
maccanee
26 minutes ago, Gordon EF said: Given that it seems pretty unlikely East Fife haven't breached some rule in some way, I wouldn't be too confident we won't be getting a 3-0 defeat for this. shawfield shed boy
Positive test in Clyde team, referee told the game could go ahead, East Fife refused and the game called off.Clyde to be awarded win if east fife refused to play when authorties suggested it goes ahead?! -
Karpaty Lviv
From “aw shite we have fucked it, total shambles of a club” to “offt 3-0 win and that’s us just about safe” in the space of five minutes.
Jaggy Snake
Fucking hell. This just gets more bizarre by the second. Also, 3-0 to Clyde please.

Big Fifer
I'd imagine one of our staff/players/directors will have had concerns given the positive test being revealed so late after players have all been together in the same building/were about to play. Not sure what'll happen here. I'd imagine we'll hear from the club tonight/tomorrow morning. Not sure on the format of the response group, difficult for them to tell them to play the game if EF representatives are expressing concerns. All guesswork mind!
Jaggy Snake
It does seem extremely strange the JRG would give the go ahead at such short notice, after a positive test. I can't see the SPFL being keen to award the game either way.
bhoonaman
So, when the Clyde players all came back out at 7:15, who was noticeably missing? A starting player, sub, squad member?
Boghead ranter
Brechin to be kept in League 2 is the probable SPFL decision here.
