Another great result for us at Easter Road. We've been a bit of a bogey team for Hibs in Edinburgh for a while now.

Apparently 2012 was the last time they beat us at Easter Road.

We havent beaten "a team like St Johnstone" in Leith since 2012.

Almost a decade of no home wins against the mighty SJFC - blimey.

I should caveat with "in the league" - and for 3 of those years we were making sandcastles.

But, yes the home record is poor..............dinnae think the away record is much better tbh

You've got a player out on loan giving you a good chance of 5th too.

Wouldn't be against him signing permanently as squad option.

£100k and he’s yours I’d imagine.

Have you beat us in the cup? We only seem to play at Tynecastle iirc

Really pleased for him. He gives 100%. Today he did us both a lot of good. Our secret agent.

Credit where credits due.
Cracking ball into the box from Porteous.
Wins the ball, holds off the challenge, looks up and plays the killer pinpoint pass. Adds another million onto his value with that sort of game-winning assist. IMHO

You feel very much like 2014 United.
Hyped up manager, hyped up players, but as soon as they play St Johnstone, they crumble. United had Souttar as an absolute bombscare against us, Hibs have Porteous. Your manager is going down the same trap as McNamara in panicking whenever you go behind. Feels like we're completely in his head now.
I still don't think we'll win the Cup, but if history repeats itself, then we're beating you 1-0 in the Final after a Porteous error.
Souttar didn't play in the final though. He was dropped for Gavin Gunning [emoji23][emoji23]

Yeah I know, hopefully that part doesn't repeat.

Souttar was, in general, a complete disaster everytime he played against us.
