Dunning1874
Enjoyed Alba taking their annoying habit of cutting away for a close up of a player while the ball is in play in every fucking game they show to new levels by briefly showing a close up of Frizzell while Dumbarton still had it in the Edinburgh box.
vikingTON
Presumably Duffy will slither out the door after this peak Duffy level of insipid performance. They've made really heavy weather of this against poor opposition.
GordyBrow
Let us never speak of this season again.

RossBFaeDundee
Congrats to Dumbarton, with all the pish outside of the pitch going on at the club, glad they also don't have a relegation to worry about.
Ludo*1
Jim Duffy & Barry Smith dream team? Never in doubt IMO.
embow
Game in general totally spoilt by the wind and a poor referee. Albeit it was the same for both teams but still eye gouching awful attempt at a football match.
FifeSons
That was absolutely dreadful, but I'll take it.
Bring Back Paddy Flannery
Thank f**k that’s over. A truly honking performance that sums up Jim Duffy’s tenure as Dumbarton gaffer. Get him to f**k first thing tomorrow morning.
Life on Marrs?
Well done Dumbarton, that was brutal but we've had some exciting games against you guys these last couple of years & you're some of the best fans for banter on here, see you next season.
Cosmic Joe
Think Dumbarton shaded that. Well done. The central defensive partnership saw them through. Ross Forbes also carried them at times throughout the season.
FifeSons
Disappointed Duffy didn't announce his resignation there.
Ray Patterson
Dumbarton definitely deserved it over the two legs, fair play to Edinburgh City for giving it a good go of it tonight, but the damage was done in the first leg.
BallochSonsFan
I missed the sending off. Watching the replay, its absolutely crazy for a guy on a yellow card to try something that obvious. It was disgraceful and he can have absolutely no complaints about the 2nd yellow. If he hadn't dived then the ball was still there to be won. If he'd kept chasing it and putting the defenders under pressure then he could well have been fouled or at least forced one of them to put the ball out for a corner. Relieved to come through the play-offs and remain in League One. Duffy needs to go and that squad needs a complete rebuild. Only 3 or 4 players I'd want to keep.
AMMjag
Based on those two legs, promotion looks like it would be a complete waste of time for Edinburgh City anyway. If you're that far off the 9th placed side managed by Jim Duffy then you're looking at a big squad overhaul just to survive.

He’s been as pish as the rest of them.

The amateur hour attempt at a released players thread isn't cutting it for me. I'm back, baby. Thank God that game, and this season, are over. Brutal stuff. The only highlight was the hilarious dive for the second booking. Rebuild needed now. Starting with the management team.

The problem for us is that Forbes doesnt turn up often enough. Usually if he isnt doing it from set pieces then he's essentially a man down because he doesnt graft and won't help you much. That first leg was not a typical Ross Forbes performance.
