archieduke
If we'd kept to the days of giving squad numbers based on the number caps players had then it would look something like this 1 Gordon 2 Marshall 3 Robertson 4 Forrest 5 Hanley 6 McGinn 7 McGregor 8 Armstrong 9 Mctominay 10 McKenna 11 Tierney 12 O'Donnell 13 Christie 14 Fraser 15 Dykes 16 Gallagher 17 Cooper 18 Hendry 19 Fleck 20 Taylor 21 Adams 22 McLaughlin 23 Nisbet 24 Patterson 25 Gilmour 26 Turnbull

Goram was no.1 as first choice keeper, Gough was no.2 as captain and then the rest were in order of caps.

O'Donnell 3. Robertson 6. Tierney 7. McGinn 8. McGregor 9. Dykes 10. Adams 14. Fleck 15. Gallagher 16. Cooper 17. Armstrong 19. Nisbet 20. Fraser 22. Patterson 25. Forrest 26. McKenna McTominay will probably be 4, Hanley 5 and Christie 11. It won't reveal anything about the first 11 that we didn't already know; I was hoping number 4 would be Cooper or something so we could start guessing. 18. Turnbull
TheScarf
They should do it in alphabetical order like in Euro 92.
accies1874
18. TurnbullSeems quite a few will get their club number:Marshall, Hanley, McGinn, Dykes, Adams, McKenna, Armstrong and perhaps Gilmour. The backup right-back should always get 12 or 22 and the backup left-back should be 13 or 23 so we've done well in that. I know Christie tends to be 11 for Scotland but I'd have swapped him and Adams, although Christie's role would suit his number. Forrest being 25 is annoying me for some reason, as is McGregor as 8 (he's usually 10 for us). These things do matter.

McGregor one doesn't fuss me as much as it allowed Dykes and Adams to be 9 and 10. Imagine Gordon and McLaughlin will be their usual 12 and 21 respectively. 23 for Gilmour like you say. Leaves 13 and 24 for Taylor and Hendry.
accies1874
24 for Hendry's good IMO. High number but similar to the one he'd have if it was 1-11.

J_Stewart
I see that goofy bitch Fleck has got the Rona. Fucking hope it hasn't spread throughout the squad. Might mean a call-up for Gauld as a replacement too if he has to isolate for an extended period of time.
TheScarf
Surely he's out of the tournament now? He'll have to self isolate until the 10th/11th?
craigkillie
He'll be able to train in his accommodation, and the isolation period ends before our tournament starts, so I can't see why there would be any issues. It would only be if he felt unwell and therefore might have his performance affected, but that doesn't seem to be the case.
charger29
I don't think they'll drop him in case some other midfielders test positive in a few days time.
