peasy23
Are triathlon courses usually in laps? I thought it was usually one big course. Could be talking pish though Yes, they use laps quite often. Commonwealth Games used a circuit round Strathclyde Park. Means you don't have to close off lots more roads.
UsedToGoToCentralPark
First medal for team GB today in Judo, think there's a decent chance of 3 or 4 medals from the judo team as 3 of the remaining 4 could be in with a chance. Natalie Powell has a chance of gold.

welshbairn
Haven't been watching much of it so far, just bits of the early evening highlights, but I'm pretty sure the BBC has never been as concentrated on the plucky Brits before, showing clips on somebody from Rotherham say being knocked out in an earlier round and not bothering to show the final? Maybe it's my fault for not watching the live coverage, but it's usually the middle of the night ffs. P.S. The live commentary on the Triathlon seems ok tbf. peasy23
Norway's Blummenfelt takes gold in the triathlon then gets carted off in a wheelchair, silver for Alex Yee.
Fuctifano
Some vomit after winning. Much easier to have ten pints and do that rather than a triathlon in an outdoor sauna.

The guy who fired the start gun early is probably vomiting too.

The Norwegian wet triathlon suit / underpants combination was unfortunate. Conditions looked absolutely lethal for running in, and that was at 8am!

Lurkst
Brilliant stuff from Daley and Lee! Justified them being included ahead of Kane and Sterling.

Really, in the current #BLM climate? Wrong choice of simile. Who employed him!
