Top of the league and you're no!

Recommended Posts

So, clearly this thread isn't about St Mirren.. :( ..and I am sure normal service will resume in a few weeks, but in the slight chance that this season sees an actual title race, let's celebrate that here..

2 games in...

..and the OF are not even in the top 3.

As in, you're a moron.

Thanks.

I was too busy thinking it should  be "We're top of the league and you're no" but not wanting to put in "we" at the start I managed to fall foul of the classic typo.

I don't recall asking.

Yet another matchday over and done with, and the Hibs invincibles are still sitting pretty in the #1 spot. Being this dominant is starting to get a little boring. I don't know how Celtic fans managed to sustain their interest for so long...

Another week, another top 3 without the OF.

For those wondering the next games are: Hibs and Aberdeen are at home to Livi and County, respectively, while Hearts travel to Dundee to face United.

Interestingly, it's also the first OF derby, so for the teams in 1st, 2nd and 3rd will they'll be looking to extend their lead on at least one team, if not both.

Don't mind me, I'm just enjoying what's likely to be Hibs' last few hours to lord it over the lesser denizens of Scottish fitba' this season.

I'm assuming that we're above Rangers on the basis of lexical sorting - matching them on the pitch, and way ahead of them in the dictionary. Natural order, indeed!

A wee bump for this.

Aberdeen fail to make inroads back into the top three, and while Rangers have managed to work themselves to the top of the league, they look far from comfortable.

After the first few weeks I sort of expected things to "get back to normal" but perhaps this year (and, yes it's far too early to even consider such a thing) we might get a genuine title race.

* bump *

I'm sort of locked into this now, so let's do it...

The Edinburgh clubs swap places, with Hearts tasting top for a few hours on Saturday. Rangers still leading by a point.

Celtic, maybe, have turned a corner with that win over Aberdeen. How soon before they appear in the top 3?

There is the international break, but when the league returns Hearts face Rangers at Ibrox, while Hibs host United.
