Tartan Blood
Is it even worth mentioning Gilmour? Does it go without saying how phenomenal he was? What an immense talent. He was everywhere. I'm calling it now, he'll end up with one of our highest caps tallies. Right alongside Robertson, who was also incredible tonight. 2 very deserved assists for him.

Did they play together much in the youth system? Looked completely on each other’s wavelength. Comrie
Went from Clach coming from 3-1 down to win 4-3 to Scotland coming from behind to win 3-2. My heart the day, christ.

At least until we lose 1-0 to the Faroe Islands after VAR grants the Faroes a hotly disputed penalty. After which I'll demand Steve Clarke be burned at the stake using a pile of VAR equipment as firewood. Good thing it's no Andorra we're playing.

If he's 19 then perhaps the u21s is the best place for him, no? It certainly looks that way based on his performance tonight. -

saint pogo
When our left hand side do get going it’s a joy to watch. Robbo,Teirney and McGregor are slowly but surely forming a great understanding. The right hand side has potential and we got a bit of joy down there for the firs5 time in a while. Not so lopsided.

He's the best striker we've got, and he's got the ability to play in a few roles up top. Absolutely integral to everything we do. Shite at penalties but he even got taken off of Livi's penalty taking duties for missing some Speaks volumes that he's scored more Scotland goals in less appearances than Griffiths. I’m often critical of Dykes and I don’t think he covered himself in glory at all with his ridiculous decision making for the penalty, but I agree that he makes us tick and probably doesn’t get enough recognition for the work he does. He has just scored a massive goal to haul us back into the match and was generally a pest that entire second half. I’m not sure the partnership with Adams is quite there yet, and personally I’d rather see Christie or Fraser playing off him, but the big guy done well.
well fan for life
Gilmour is such a special talent. He could find space in a phone box and some of his passing to clip the ball to folk is delicious. Watching the way he plays makes you wonder how he's playing for us. When you see the wankfest the media down south put on over Rice & Phillips who aren't close to the level of talent for me.
