The US and the UK are now sending switchblade drones and starstreak missiles apparently so it isn't going to get any easier for Vlad's army and airforce. Guess the cynical take would be that there are future weapons sales to be secured by demonstrating what they can do against Russian armaments at this point now it looks like Ukraine will be able to hold as it's not clear why they wouldn't have been made available initially otherwise. This could also be significant:

I don't think Starstreak has ever been used in anger and there will undoubtedly be Thales reps ripping the head right off it at the thought of a few HVM vs SU25 TikToks to put in their PowerPoint.

That ties in with what the influential think tank from Shanghai released last week.

China needs to pick a side and that side is the west is what they were saying

"Ukranian resistance remains staunch..."

They don't do walking away, eh?

I’m sure this has already been mentioned, but I watched a documentary film called “Ukraine - winter on fire” which looks into the protests that took place against the Russian appointed president. The Euromaidan protests in Ukraine from 21 November 2013 to 23 February 2014.

These people were willing to give up their lives to secure a better future and peaceful protestors were being shot dead by their own brutal police force.

All the people wanted was the freedom of democracy to join Europe.

It gave a powerful insight into the psyche of this proud nation.

It’s on Netflix.

Scotland were offered a vote to make a positive change in our future with independence.

These people laid down their lives.

Need to hope staunch means something different in Ukraine otherwise we can expect the resistance to simply give up any day now, then slink back in a few years claiming they are still the same Ukraine.

Back to calling it The Ukraine then.

Would the people that Far East even give that much of a shit? Seem to remember reading that anything east of Siberia has practically been abandoned by Putin and left to their own devices for years.

My bet is it'll be part of Greater China within a few decades.
