Gone at #1? I'm just doing the same as you m8.  Giving an opinion. Then again maybe I'm being a bit hysterical, my hormones an that, know?

You linked Malky MacKay and cancel culture.  He is managing in the SPL, who's cancelled him?  His own actions have had an impact on his career that just life.  Act like a f*d and people will think you're a f*d.  Malky has no-one to blame but himself.  Even then linking MacKay and Goodwillie is just plain daft.

I never called you a 'gammon' so please don't try and play the victim here.  Although the whole Brexit sideline suggests a certain defensiveness on your part.

As for Goodwin, he's not good enough for a club of your stature. Even contemplating a semi-successful rookie from a diddy club shows a severe lack of imagination on the part of Aberdeen.  I mean when has appointing the guy who managed St Mirren ever worked out for your club?

Tarapoa is a good c**t. Pretty certain he chucked cancel culture in without really thinking about it.

Someone else certainly called him a gammon. Guessing he just replied to your message as a whole rather than multi-quoting several posts.

Why would Goodwin want to go to Aberdeen? They are a shambles; will never win the League; go any distance in Europe; and have as much chance as any Premiership team in winning a cup. Getting St Mirren to overachieve gives him more kudos for the big move to Engerland that getting Aberdeen third.

Which is what, exactly?

Bearing in mind it's already been said that this is the highest wage bill ever at St Mirren, they're a "top four" club and Goodwin is the highest paid manager in your clubs history.

If this Knutsen guy is in any way realistic, he's got to be the guy they go for.

Jack Ross won't be appetising for a club the size of Aberdeen since he was punted from Hibs. Jim Goodwin is the definiton of having 'done alright'. There's nothing to suggest that he can help Aberdeen push right on and become a force to be reckoned with in the cups and sealing 3rd as a minimum every season. He's the best out of a bad realistic bunch right now and you'd imagine he'd be pretty expensive to pry off St Mirren right now. He just seems a bit of a 'meh' option.

9th, 7th, and two lost Semi Finals (Livingston/St Johnstone).

You'd be forgiven for thinking he'd won them a cup and finished top four the way they go on tbh.

Could do a lot worse than Martindale.

I don't think there's any chance at all he leaves us. Turned down Bradford when Hopkin went, normally I'd be expecting people to move upwards but Martindale could genuinely be here for the next 10/15 years without much worry. He's proven himself to be one of the better managers in this league now too.

Interesting article.

Almost seems like the director is trying to convince the guy doing the article of how good he is.

For me, if it's in any way reaslistic, with what we want to do, this has to be aggressively pursued.

This is our man, Kjetil Knutsen. Come on DC, make it happen...

Forget Goodwin, Ross, McKay and all that jazz, the Norsk man is our fella...

Good call @Ludo*1...even a Dundee man knows what's good and what isn't for The Dons
