accies1874
Poor Ralph. Always treaded a fine line between success and disaster but ultimately his reign had nothing to show for it other than two 9-0 pumpings. There's very little for these clubs to strive for nowadays, especially once Newcastle make it a Big 7 hoovering up all of the European spots.
raith_94
Pickford, Shaw, Maguire, Dier, Stones and Alexander-Arnold surely isn't what they're going with for WC is it? Even with Walker and James injured I must be forgetting a RB? Edit - Trippier, duh. Edited November 6, 2022 by raith_94
senorsoupe
Basically to score against Liverpool you need to put the ball where Trent should be, as he's pretty much guaranteed not to be there

Granny Danger
Konate is a huge upgrade on the alternatives, Thiago having a poor game.
Bairnardo
Some finish from Kane that. Kulusevski making a massove difference. Neville must not have watched Southgates England at all if he thinks TAA presents this huge dilemma. Southgate very clearly doesn't trust him. He is a risk averse manager, and TAA has had absolutely minimal time on the pitch for England as a result. If Neville thinks that this season, where his defensive deficiencies had been badly exposed to Liverpools cost is the one where it suddenly becomes a puzzle for waistcoat, im fucked if I know what he's been watching.

Didn’t Neville say a few weeks back that Trent was better then Cafu? I hope Southgate does take him. An England World Cup back 4 of Trent, Maguire, Dier and Shaw would be splendid.

You would expect this to be obvious to a player that played his entire career as a right back, but seemingly not. A good insight into why he was an abject failure during his short stint in management.
