an86
An improvement in terms of the communication, but still a few unanswered questions there for me. Who is going to be responsible for the registrations as we move forward, for example?
QPSpider1867
Are we chipping in for a F@ck the royal box banner? Perfect since we’re directly ahead of it with little shelter and rain coming in.

I know there are capacity and other issues at present but I do think this could still be a tidy little stadium with the two ends filled in. Have no expertise in this area but there surely must be innovative ways to design something for the remaining space to give a reasonable capacity. No big innovation needed: the simple option of a couple of relatively steep terraces behind each goal could turn that into a stadium with a capacity around 3000 rather than a sub 1000 embarrassment, and is surely a better option in every respect than a monstrosity of a stand behind either goal that dwarves the rest of the stadium.

Terracing is the only sensible solution. Which means you can guarantee we won't go with it.

Have they excluded that as an option? **Just realised you probably meant they wouldn't do something sensible! QPSpider1867
Better apology from the club today… also agreed to reimburse the fans. Why it took so long for that I have no idea. The cost of reimbursing fans, missing the 5th round fixture with Livi and possibly the QF income. What a loss!
Tattie36
The powers that be at Scottish teams, particularly outwith the top flight, need to stop this obsession with all seater stadiums, it’s not 1995 ffs. Modern, safe standing is undoubtedly the way forward. It’s cheaper to build, creates a better atmosphere and gives fans a choice. There’s a reason that many European sides are adding safe standing areas to their grounds. As usual Scottish football is a decade or more behind the times. There are no regulations to stop a club with a predominantly standing stadium playing in the Premiership anymore either. Knock down the Royal box and replace it with a main stand like e.g. Montrose, a small covered terrace at each end, add in the almost finished stand and you would have a cracking wee stadium of c4k. Build a Pavilion in a corner if need be, like old Broomfield, if the nobs can’t bear to mix with the proles. Tucking necessary items close by the “Box” could have left mostly unobstructed view seats in the SW and NW corners, it looks like. Tell’em it’s theirs for £125? That's a good point. Had a complete stand been built on that side, the players' dressing rooms could have been incorporated under the stand, surely?

Hampden Diehard
It says how far we've travelled when we're disappointed after a draw that leaves us top of the Championship.
QPSpider1867
Meh, that wasn’t great Poor quality from both teams. Pointless long balls and misplaced passes. Some selfish decision making too. Brilliant goal from our new striker. The touch and finish was magic. Hopefully he has a strong run to the end of the season, we’ll need it. Dundee dropping points is fine, but it’s a missed opportunity really! All the teams will drop points in the remaining games so it’s entirely up to us.

qpfc
Next 5 games are pretty seasoning defining stuff in terms of going for the title. On paper, that’s a really nice set of fixtures coming up but it’s imperative we take advantage of these “home” games. If we’re serious about the title, we’ve got to be hitting about 12 points here. Connor shields seems to be an excellent addition up top but we need to get the likes of Thomas, Thomson and McPake firing again. Spiders For Life
Bit of a different episode on the podcast this week. Simon Murray got in touch with us as he wanted to give a bit of background on his move to Ross County. We also have a good chat about the rest of his time with Queen’s for those interested!
