The decision makers may still be on holiday but still very poor from the club, no communication. Looks increasingly likely that we won’t be playing at Lesser next season I’m afraid.

Do we have a date for the EGM?

Really dragging out this stadium news, you got to think we've made a decision so it's mad that they've not announced anything.

Committee is meeting tonight. Don’t know if that will be a prelude to anything or not.

Even if they haven't made a decision they could tell us that and (rather optimistically I suppose) why. Is that too much for the supporters, season ticket holders and members.

Would be classic QP to feel that they have to officially tell the commmittee something before announcing it to the rest of the plebs

It does, but does this now mean, as I suggested it, that the SPFL will form a League 5?

It was a strange situation. The SFA proposed the conference rather than the SPFL, something which illustrates the wacky nature of Scottish football.  And the SPFL's top man kept very quiet about it.

We'll see if what you suggest is the next move. This crap is coming; well, the B teams mixing it in the upper divisions is.  All we can do is delay it.

The league fixtures are published at the end of the month, so Queen's Park will need to confirm to the SPFL in advance of that where they plan to play so that any potential scheduling conflicts can be worked out.

When you say “need to”, what happens if we don’t?

Isn’t that because the SFA own the hierarchy and the SPFL are the operator for the Senior leagues i.e. tiers 1-4? LL/HL and all levels below are operated by SFA affiliated bodies.

In which case, SPFL tier 5 would be an extension to the Senior leagues as opposed to SFA Conference which would be the highest league outwith the Seniors. And presumably tier 5 will get a slice of the SPFL money pot, which means a bit less for teams in tier 1-4.
