After a big humping I am sure Gretna will park the bus.

They will need to use a real bus to have any chance.

It was a bit crap that the Viaplay fixture organisers couldn’t arrange that Albion Rovers had the same schedule as Cowden, and played the first 4 rounds of the 5, meaning Rovers could have opened their LL campaign today, instead of being 3 rounds behind.

Great result for Bo’ness today, looks like they have re-build well.

Sore one for Cowden to take, but you are on the right track if you are coming away from Celtic B disappointed with a draw.

EK brought back down to earth with a slip up against Stirling. Or maybe a point gained in the end after being 1-0 down with 10 men.

Gretna, well what can you say? Relegation seems inevitable even at this stage.

Another good win for Broomhill Dumbarton FC, looks like they might be comfortable mid table

They've still got the potential saviour of Edinburgh University being worse than them. It's not like they've had a great start.

Agreed, although they did give CSS a decent game. Edinburgh seem more likely to pick up scraps than Gretna.

IMO after watching the Uni play Tranent,  I don't think that they will go down,  they might surprise some teams.

Long way to go but if there's one thing that Bo'ness United fans would probably agree on it's that Max Christie should have been able to do more with the squad he had at Newtown Park last season. Landing the Tranent job appeared to be a case of failing upwards possibly due to finances that he can bring to the job.

Watched a clip of EK demolishing Camelon preseason and they looked scarily good for an LL team and more League One sort of level like Kelty a few seasons back. Over 34 games they will be very difficult for the other clubs to surpass.

The SPFL is not going to arrange its fixtures specifically to suit clubs that aren't even part of their league. If Albion Rovers didn't want to be 3 rounds behind they could have refused their invitation to the competition.

They managed to do it for Brechin as well as Cowdenbeath, why not Albion Rovers as well, the only 3 clubs affected? Albion Rovers couldn't afford to turn down the money involved.
