The UK Health Security Agency has identified samples of polio in wastewater in London. It appears the source of the virus is someone who has had an oral polio vaccine abroad and then travelled to London. The samples have identified that the virus appears to have been transmitted person to person, a significant concernZ. No cases have been reported yet but a National incident has been declared. Have any P&Bers got polio? What illness from the past should we bring back Next? Hopefully my vaccination is still doing the business. Mumps. Agony when I had it and very few people get it these days. Get Christmas out the way first.
