0-1 broadfoot

Ffs. That'll be him getting signed.

He doesn't look that mobile in defence,  took his goal well but both goals have been a bit soft.

2-0 H/T.   Scoreline flatters us, EF had the better chances.  First goal from a free-kick, their defence stood still and keeper came out and flapped at it, Broadfoot just had to nod it in.  Second a sloppy clearance by their young keeper falls to Todd (or was it Connelly?)  who slots home.  None of the trialists look particularly impressive, defence still looks shaky.  Gibson & Paton the stand-outs.

I thought trialist wearing no 11 looked decent early on but not done much since.

Who is he?

Commentators suggesting his first name is Rueben.

Any idea who number 5 was he was the other centre back today, I thought 11 looked good and brought people into play quite a lot, and the left back looked steady

paton and Connley look a handful,

thought we looked okay and hopefully gelling earlier this year.

I thought the number 3 looked ok as did broadfoot without being spectacular . The no11 looks big and strong but drifted in and out of the game. Paton looked good first half and Connolly had a decent game. Gibson probably our best player. McMahon came on for last 10/15 minutes or so and looked like a busy wee player.

Broadfoot will be 37 in August so he will not mobile .

It is his experience we need with our young squad.

We will hopefully make a decision on our trialists this week but signing any trialist is a gamble really difficult to see after a few games if a player is good enough .

Our best hope is still to get loans in

Possibly a forward called Ruben Soares Junior who was with Billericay in the National League South last season? Appears to have moved up from local football in the London area but didn't get many minutes last season for whatever reason.
