Sensible Soccer🏴
Can't see a thread for this. It'll be my first match of the season, I won't take my family to games involving the arse cheeks. Not sure what to expect from either team but looking forward to getting to a game at Vicky park.
deadasdillinger
Will be through for this one. Very much hoping County are still rooted to the bottom of the table on zero points come 5pm Saturday.
Staggie_93
I think the experiment with Dominic Samuel playing off the striker has run it’s course. I’ll be a bit annoyed if he starts again considering the other options we have now available.

Yup, fully expecting Dhanda to get a start tomorrow.
Squirrelhumper
Looking forward to the trip up. Our record in the highlands is howling through, so not expecting much.
The Great Stagsby
After a couple of encouraging but ultimately fruitless performances against two of the top teams, followed by a dismal showing against one of the more beatable teams in the league, we really need to take something out of this to avoid too much negative momentum and battered confidence. That's a rut we don't want to be in. Bare minimum a point required tomorrow to avoid that. Get all 3 and I think the first 3 games fade into relative insignificance.
Sensible Soccer🏴
Why was Purrington subbed offf at HT last wknd, did he pick up a knock, is he available this weekend?
Comrie
Killie lads: If you are bussing from Inverness- get the 25 or 27, not the 28.
Matty-RCFC
" userid="81095"] Why was Purrington subbed offf at HT last wknd, did he pick up a knock, is he available this weekend? Was a strange one. I thought he was the only one with pass marks last week in the first half so was surprised to see him come off.

I've been told it was tactical and that he's fit to play this weekend, I'd start him against killie. I think we'll probably see White up front with Dhanda behind today. I've liked the look of Jordi but he's had very little to feed off, he could also be a good shout in the "10" role, as his workrate seems good.
Fide
Deek doesn’t seem anywhere close to his settled starting XI yet. I’m not massively confident about this. I’d start Sotona, assuming he’s fit enough.
bunglebonce
Hiwula is the type of striker who offers runs behind the defence, but he’s had maybe one such pass in three matches. I’d be bemused if Dhanda comes in and Hiwula is replaced by White. Edited August 20, 2022 by bunglebonce
Matty-RCFC
Personally I’d go with this:LaidlawJohnson - Baldwin - Iacovitti - PurringtonCallachan - CancolaOlaigbe - Dhanda - OwuraHiwulaI think the back 4 and Laidlaw is probably set in stone for today. Tillson will probably be quite frustrated should he not start given last weeks showing in midfield but I believe Callachan and Cancola compliment each other well and are generally our best midfielders. That attacking 3 would cause any team in the league problems on the break. Owura and Olaigbe are both far better when cutting inside on their favoured foot so hopefully they start in that fashion. As for Hiwula, I think the introduction of Dhanda would suit him down to the ground as it would halt us being so direct. There’s nothing wrong with being direct but I don’t think winning aerial battles against Ash Taylor suits him at all. If Dhanda starts, I’d like to see Hiwula keep his place in the side. That being said, thought White did brilliantly last week when he came on and if we are chasing the game he offers a whole different dynamic from the bench if we do need to that bit more direct. That team up there is strong and also leaves us with Sims to come off the bench so it’s a quality side - just hope the boys can get the points that some of their play has deserved this season.
craigkillie
That tackle from Callachan was horrendous, not even a debate to be had that it was a red card.

stevieKTID
Have to agree with John Barnes "if that had been Alan Power it would've been a certain red card"
craigkillie
Alan Power has 1 red card in nearly 150 games for Killie and it wasn't a straight red. John should move on to Rangers TV or Celtic TV if he wants to indulge in that sort of chip on his shoulder rubbish.
Comrie
Straight red for me for Callachan, he's a liability when he starts getting stuck in. Scrappy goal for a scrappy game.
