HuttonDressedAsLahm
Norway have the world’s best striker but they’ve still been a bit hot and cold lately. Perhaps, a bit like us. The one ‘positive’ is that Norway are just as capable of dropping points to George/Cyprus as we are. We absolutely need Spain not to drop points.

Bully Wee Villa
They've gone shite since. One point from their last two games... against Faroe Islands and Luxembourg. Will be happy to be proven wrong but suspect Wales have been jammy as f**k.

Earlier this year, they changed from having Turkey and Türkiye as official names for their country, and it's now just Türkiye. I'd say fair enough, but apparently plenty of Turks refer to their country as Turkey. Not much of a surprise move for a fascist leader TBH; they're probably just not Turkish enough for him.

pub car king
The only way to deal with haaland effectively is for some absolute haddie of a Scottish player to wipe him out in a league game before the internationals.

General dissaray
Spain Norway Georgia Cyprus Scotland Aren't sure about this first impression its a really tough group, thank christ we have the play off Second impression outwith Spain white washing it you would think that there are a lot of even matched teams and maybe there will be a lot off draws?

BFTD
It's not an evenly matched group, Dryhorce. Both ourselves and Norway will be looking for full points from Georgia and Cyprus. Neither of them are qualifying. Spain will be disappointed to drop points to anyone. If Norway didn't have Haaland, we'd be more confident about our chances of qualifying from this group. Maybe we're being a bit pessimistic; we don't have an attacking player of his quality, but we're also not in the position where a single player dropping out of the squad would be a major disaster.

Have you looked at the Georgia team?Got players in top flights off Spain Italy France they aren't the mugs that your making out And anybody not on there game including us like we have done before could drop points against them
Todd_is_God
Norway are obviously a decent team, but Haaland isn't new and even with him Norway have failed to qualify for Euro 2020 whilst we did (by beating the team who put them out the playoffs), failed to even make the WC Playoffs, and didn't win their NL League B group. Just as we are in pot 2 for a reason, so too are Norway in pot 3 for one. We should be just as confident of our ability to finish above them as they will be about us.
KirkieRR
Georgia and Cyprus are big banana skins, Spain aren't what they were but are still better than us. Norway have Haaland... BUT Norway didn't qualify for the World Cup either and have had some incredibly moderate results. Haaland will become a target in the Munnybags English league and Champions and Other Teams League, so may well pick up injuries and miss some ties. I'm clutching at straws, but there's always the straw of the play-off...

Win midfield battle starve them off chances hopefully Calmac will be back by then first name on the team sheet these days We got the midfield that can do this if they prepare and focus to do the job Edited October 9, 2022 by General dissaray

Anybody thinking they or Georgia will be easy are tripping and kidding themselves on Absolutely no way we would have wanted them, but on the other hand with recent results we shouldn't be fearing anyone but we need to be at 100 per cent every match to win
Gordopolis
You guys need to get a grip. If we can't beat Norway and Georgia, then we shouldn't even bother. Haaland is one man with a poor team around him.Odegaard is half decent too like

Gordopolis
Bit of a World Cup '90 reunion going on. Probably about as difficult as we could have got, but there's still plenty of hope. Grant Hanley keeps Haaland in his pocket for two games and we'll be fine. Don't forget we were going to be tanked by Norway in the Nations League play-offs, only for Serbia to put them out on their arse. I forget what happened in the next match...Milinkovic-Savic was going to obliterate us.In fact he barely did a thing of note.
