JagsCG
Not played Falkirk since we thrashed them 5-0 to win the title a few seasons ago, this should be a fairly interesting game. Going by the pre-match chat from McCall it looks as if we'll have quite a lot of changes, Mullen, Weston, Brownlie, Sneddon, Hodson etc. coming in so there's the possibility of a slightly dis-jointed team but hopefully some of those guys can take their chance and give us a selection problem going into the next league match. Not really seen anything of Falkirk this season but going purely by results it looks is if it's been a mixed start, 3 wins in their last 5 but have already lost to Airdrie and Kelty Hearts. Despite much of the criticism and ridicule this competition gets I still think we'd like to try and go the distance in it although it's far from the end of the world if we fail to do so.
Fuctifano
Would like to see Weston and Mullin start in a front two, and not sure how many rotation options we've got in the centre of midfield. Would say something like this Sneddon Hodson Brownlie Akinola Milne (still needs games imo) Smith Bannigan Lyon / Stanway Fitzpatrick Mullen Weston Will be placing money on Alegría to score if he starts. If we win, great, if we don't, *shrug*
Just a bairn
I’ll be happy with a better performance than the Dundee game.

Maintaining some performance even if we don’t win is important here to keep league on track.
Pie Of The Month
This feels like the exact kind of game McCall loses, particularly when we're resting players. 3/1 on Falkirk at home is generous.

We have no attacking options on the bench bar Lawless, even all the kids on the bench are defenders or midfielders.

Guest
Had we won by 4 or 5 it would not have flattered us. McGinn a class act and Thistle couldn’t handle Burrell and Morrison. No failures again. Defence had cigars out. Special mention for Gary Oliver - he is a very clever player. Thistle knew they were beat long before the end.
Shodwall cat
Was dowds injured? I'd have thought he'd have got a start for thistle the night.
Reggie Perrin
Even allowing for Thistle being under strength that was an absolute pumping, just a slight shame the score does not reflect how one sided that was.
Disco Duck
Was so impressed with Donaldson tonight. Just cruised it. That cross from McCann for the goal was a thing of beauty.

Graham, Dowds and Tiffoney are all injured, the rest of the changes were 'rotation' which tonight's result and performance proved we're nowhere near good enough to do on such a large scale.

Aye there certainly won't be any of them the night forcing there way into jobbys strongest team.
Roboccop
Zero shots on target. Are you raging or putting it down to second string?

Don’t think anyone would say “raging” considering it’s the Challenge Cup, but seems like a dreadful performance even for a fringe lineup.
ShaggerG
Thistle reminded of Hibs in the LC. Didn't look like they wanted it enough
