Part of the VAR process is that the on-field referee explains what he thought he saw. Only if the VAR thinks the pictures show something different is there then a referral to the monitor. 

Which is actually the opposite of what Walker was claiming about someone else refereeing the game. 

This is the point I was trying to make. If Beaton has seen it hit his hand it's inconceivable that he doesn't think it's a penalty.

VAR would really benefit from access to audio tbh.

Would a draw be the best result here for banter or is it a victory for Ian Beale’s Blue Tits or Angela’s Spaghetti Hoops!? 

Hard to decide which will cause the most distress. Both such horrible outfits.
