Unpopular opinion but i'd be delighted if QP managed to secure Jack Ross.

His managerial record is more impressive than most (if not all) the names mentioned above.

He’s not leaving his role at Newcastle for Queens Park m9.

Could be wrong but taking a permanent role over an interim one makes sense to me.

His young family are settled down there. I would imagine he is on a decent wedge of money. He will be looking to develop his career down south and if he can earn decent wages without the stress and aggravation of a managers job in Scotland then he would be wise to do so.
Jack Ross is a very shrewd individual.

With any luck it will be one of those stories where its some Dutch guy no-ones ever heard of and it turns out he's just class at Football Manager and his CV is just his FM achievements that no-one bothered to check out.

The Ali Dia of managerial appointments please and thank you.

I've got a feeling in my bones about Malky Mackay for this job.

After two years at Ross County I think either he or MacGregor will call time on his rebuilding project. He's not been successful enough to launder his reputation entirely and get a "big" job again, so what better than a "project" that ticks a number of boxes?

- Central belt-based

- Money

- Former player

- I think his dad has some long history with QP

- Money

- Celtic connection for Haughey

- Experience in youth development

- And of course, money

Maybe it's wishful thinking on my part (readers of the Ross County thread will know I'm no fan), but let's see.

A number of reasons why this should simply never happen. The main ones:

“Go on, fat Phil. Nothing like a Jew that sees money slipping through his fingers.”

He's a snake, a gay snake. Not to be trusted.”

"Not many white faces amongst that lot but worth considering.”

"Fkn chinkys.” “Fk it. There’s enough dogs in Cardiff for us all to go around.”

I’m all for “we all make mistakes” but it’s not a mistake when it’s a pattern of behaviour. He was also in his early 40s at the time, not that youthful idiocy would even be a particularly strong defence. Guy is a piece of shit.
