Pretty poor from the Highland League only re arranging one game for this weekend.

Two games, three including the Cup semi. It's up to the clubs, if players have booked time away or work shifts for free weekends it's not always possible to change plans at short notice.

It seems it's not really the done thing in the Highland league . We have 3 outstanding games to fit in .Asked  all 3 clubs and all 3 refused .

Looks like fitba comes second in the priority list up here. 🤣

Dean Donaldson has left Turra.

Surprised but not surprised. With him being ex Locos it is not a shock but given what he has built up at Turriff I thought he would keep going. Locos are a Club with lots of potential to be even bigger and have the right idea on wanting to blood local talent but will the ambitious people behind the scenes have the patience?

Warren Cummings (the long time Bournemouth player) is the new manager at Turra.

Is that the Chelsea superstar and former a cup winning Scotland Internationalist Warren Cummings?! Proper OG legend from the banter years 😂

Haven't been closely following but the Highland League looks crazy open this year, I'd say any of the teams between 1st - 8th have a realistic chance of winning the league still.

Brechin and Buckie will pull away eventually IMO.  I don't think Formartine or Huntly will last the pace.

If anyone was taking bets I'd put a fiver on Huntly if the odds were decent.

P. S. They've built up their squad too so should be able to cope with injuries.
