Did they strengthen much during pre-season? They looked awfully weak when we beat them 6-1 in a PSF and according to some of the Formartine people I spoke to that day, they were playing their strongest XI.

Obviously, a PSF doesn't necessarily say much. We lost 2-0 to Hermes and are unbeaten top of the league. But I was just wondering.

I'm not sure if they've strengthened to be honest. They might have had an off day in that friendly. Guys like Wade and Campbell will score them goals. The boy Matthew McLean at the back is solid. Reminds me of Hamish Thomson at Brechin, but better.

I’ve only seen Formartine once this season - a 2-1 victory over Lossie. They were fairly poor that day, and whilst they maybe should’ve had a goal or two more to add to the scoresheet, I thought they looked quite susceptible at the back which was worrying given Lossie don’t have much pace in their front 3. Young Aidan Combe was a standout that day for Formartine, however he doesn’t seem to be able to nail down a place in their Starting XI which suggests he is a fairly patchy player. Understandable.

Any one know what parking is like  at banks o dee ?

There's a reasonable amount of parking at the ground if you get there with some time to spare. Otherwise there's various car parks in the industrial estate that should be okay. I usually get the bus from town though.

Brillant thanks for that

Mind if you're paying by card at a Banks O' Dee game, they were seen charging an extra 50p to do so, which we're pretty sure is illegal.

Also, parking is a riot and you could either end up at the gate or up by the Wellington. Chances are there's no one in any of the Tullos offices on the weekend so if you can get into one of their car parks you'll probably be fine in there.

More to the point, last time I was there (must have been the Buckie game last season) the c***s never gave any warning. It looked like 2 identical turnstiles apart from one saying card payments. And the pies were all sold out and I got the last of the soup which was lukewarm and absolutely bogging.
