Group B: Dundee United, Partick Thistle, Falkirk, Peterhead, Spartans

Recommended Posts

I was a bit harsh on Harry Milne's performance last week, neglecting to remember he missed a fair chunk of last season with injury.

Hopefully, with another game under his belt we will see productivity down both wings, to tee up whoever is playing the #9 role. Dowds suspended. Robertson and McMillan not ready either.

Need to do better in midfield, in terms of possession and positioning.

Mitchell will be back in goal, so hopefully that will help, with moving the ball quicker and more accurately, from back to front.

Jimmy Craigen seems to have fitted in well at Spartans. No doubt he will get a nice welcome but no points come the final whistle.

It's going to be another tight one. Jags to edge home 2-1.

Just now, Pie Of The Month said:

Regardless of the fact he scored Brian Graham should never be on penalties.

Must be on a solid 40% conversion rate now? 🤣

Fantastic that he scored and he clearly has some amount of bottle, but I’m amazed he was allowed to hit that. Still at least we’re through. Hopefully gives club/Doolan a bit more in the way of finance for the last few weeks of the window.

Craigen knows where the heart lies, that shot from Adeloye was going over the bar and it wasn't a deliberate handball but his hand was away from his body so under the current horrific handball rule it's a stonewall penalty and (second) yellow card.
