Group B: Dundee United, Partick Thistle, Falkirk, Peterhead, Spartans

Last year was a disaster for us (as was the whole season). Didn't have enough signed players and were scrambling around trying to get a team together.

Ended up losing all 4 games with a scoring record of 0-13.

Hopefully this time we can score a goal at least. 😀

Bus booked for Peterhead. I haven't been up since that play-off game.

£15/£17 for a glorified friendly? Oh well, it is what is.

Where's good for a bite to eat and or a drink or two in the Blue Toon?

Thistle will take a pretty small squad up to Balmoor.

Sumner signing, Robinson misses out. So we will see a lot of younger players getting minutes under their belt.

James Lyon has looked decent and will probably start. Stanway will maybe be on the bench?

Not heard anything on McMillan either way.

Mitchell

MacKenzie Muirhead Williams Milne

Lyon Bannigan ?

Lawless Graham Fitzpatrick

If McMillan is available, I'd think MacKenzie would go to the left of midfield?

Certainly slim pickings, but I'm sure Peterhead are in a similar boat.

Depends what time you get up .Head into town ( just head down the hill on the main road the ground is just off) a 15/20 min walk. You have quite a few pubs plus a spoons etc as for eating I haven't lived in PhD for 15 years but the palace hotel is always ok for a lunch

I've also taken a few folk from out of town here for a sit down  fish and chips for obvious reasons https://dolphincafepeterhead.co.uk/order-now and always got good feedback from the people I've taken but it's down at the harbour

Think Stanway will be beside Bannigan with Lyon as the most advanced midfielder.  Probably only 3 or 4 outfield subs max on the bench
