English female commentators as hilariously biased as the male ones & clearly raging.

Says Spanish players going down with little to no contact implying time wasting - seconds later replay shows Spanish girl getting treatment was clearly caught late!

Every time they showed a replay of such an incident, the English player stood on the Spanish player's foot.

On the BBC News, they've got Jill Dougall (Scottish) as their reporter in Sydney doing a big PR job for DA MIGHTEE LIONESSES. Were their English pundits too teary to report? Or is it a subliminal message that the Lionesses are the national team of you bleedin Jocks as well, and Taffs. You will be assimilated

It was a role she was comfy with, referring to what "the Lionesses had done for the nation".

Why the f**k are they continually going on about "first final since 1966"??

It's no as if FIFA have merged the tournament histories or something

There seems to be a desire to merge the record books of men's and women's football in an (IMO) OTT effort to emphasise that they are equal and the same.

If we are to view all England sides as being the same then it wasn't England's first WC final since 1966 - their U20 side won the World Cup in 2017.

It's OK to refer to men's & women's football as being different.

Never been bothered by the Engalnd women's team before but watching and listening to some of the pish up to and including this game, it was very pleasing to see them get pumped. Spain were much better and really should have won by more if they were a bit more ruthless in the box. Made England look like a bunch of farmers.

Lionesses🤮

A few posts ago you were asking why the BBC didn't ask Caroline Weir to do punditry. You can't really have it both ways here.

I did see that in advance William, Prince of, apparently, Wales, sent England his support.

He should lose his title.

He might be Prince of Wales but he is English so I suppose we should make allowances.

There is, however, no excuse for this:
