AyrshireTon
Would have been funnier if the penalty was ordered to be retaken by VAR.

But kind of makes it even more baffling that the same VAR official who was recommending SFP there didn't refer Udogie's earlier. udogie only made contact with the boot. not a red. How long has this all taken?

ClathyDave
Romero is just a bit of a knob. Not a fan of Chelsea at all, but Romero is a dirty player

By saying that, you are basically saying that Sterling should take a broken leg just so the red card is given.
Guest
Shushing the crowd just looks stupid. Especially if the person doing it is in a Chelsea shirt
Lofarl
I was clean shaven when this game started.
parsforlife
Reckless challenge, certain yellow and red can’t be complained about. However this is where VAR needs to get its protocols sorted. We see the first pen check showing a sterling dive, so why should this not be called up? I think the rugby equivalent decision is goal disallowed, sterling yellow, Tottenham free kick, Romero red.

J_Stewart
Has that overrated wee c**t Palmer got a bowl cut? Get Romero back on to do him. Unacceptable

The whole body needs to be offside. If you can see light between the attackers arse and the defenders body. Then he's offside. Erm but then the same problems would persist. You’d have lines drawn between upper arms and heads determining if daylight actually exists between the furthest back point of a forward and the furthest forward of a defender. That doesn’t solve any problem, think about it.

Any overlap with players is onside.

Jim McLean's Ghost
Chelsea are going to continue playing Sterling in down the channel and one time he might actually be onside
eez-eh
This is basically saying I can swing a punch at someone on a football pitch and if the other person ducks out the way I don’t need to be sent off.
