BillyAnchor
I still watch English premier matches if I can find free streams as its early here. I am finding it ever more dull to watch but seeing Pickford lose is still worthwhile.
NorthernLights
It's quite amazing that Everton still have Ashley Young as a starter. They do seem to have something of a fetish for signing shite/past it ex-Man Utd players.

Crawford Bridge
Villa only have themselves to blame. They should well ahead of these boot lickers.
Ro Sham Bo
How long before West Ham have to re-hire Moyes to bail them out again?

They had it in parts - the whole away end was safe standing. Norwich / Ipswich remains a bit of a pain to get to but it has to go down as a great day out.
Bully Wee Villa
Great win. Should have been more comfortable but you can't have everything.

Very important news Why didn't he just put the gig back an hour? Part-timer imo. Edited August 17 by Sergeant Wilson
buchan30
Watching the highlights and was the same in the Efl highlights, but some of they defenders and goalkeepers trying to pass the ball out from the back, look like they have never seen a football before in their life. They are either tripping over it or passing it straight to an opponent.

Straight off. Life is too short to listen to that pish . Bring back the days when they only showed the league table after 3 games and referred to it as very early days. Football tables should be banned from publication until mid November IMO. Too many people getting happy over form tables until then. 13 hours ago, Bully Wee Villa said: Fun fact from that first season, Preston won the league on the 5th of January. And have been irrelevant ever since. Thank god. 4 hours ago, Crow said: They had it in parts - the whole away end was safe standing. Wonderful city.
Lurkst
Zipped through MOTD there and I have to say I thought Joe Hart was an excellent addition.
DrewDon
Shaky start when he broke with convention by responding verbally to Lineker introducing him at the beginning of the show, but he settled down after that. I'd say it was a 6/10 debut.

Joe Hart was surprisingly good. The danger with allowing goalies on MOTD is in a few years time we could be listening to Jordan Pickford !!

I love that feeling of schadenfreude when a professional footballer cannot execute a fairly simple pass when he is on thousands per week.

If the managers of Bournemouth and Fleetwood Town want to play Pep-ball in the pursuit of the occasional line-breaking pass or touches in the opposition box, conceding twenty needless comedy goals over the course of the season in the process, then it's great for us neutrals. I'm all for it as long as my own team doesn't attempt it when they're clearly not good enough to pull it off.
