Dundee vs. Motherwell Saturday 5th August

Recommended Posts

Good end to the first half but defensively we have had some dodgy moments during it and Dundee looked just as likely to score at several points. Another goal is crucial after half time.

Two players that stood out to me the first half was Wilkinson and Spittal. Wilkinson has held the ball up well and Spittal has been working away and got us a couple of opportunities. Really pleased to see the former St Johnstone star Bair on the scoresheet.

Think Slattery has been decent too. So has Souare impressed me. Very technical player and good defensively.

Kelly has had a couple of flaps at crosses which are a worry.

Was not impressed by Bair until he scored obviously. Was always on the cards. St Johnstone fans told us as much.

Aye, you can see how Soare has played at such a high level. Classy, technical player.

The scooped pass from Lennon Miller to SODs in the lead up to the goal was a thing of beauty. Almost as good as the goal itself.

To be fair Dundee have probably edged it in terms of chances and possession. Helped by us standing off and letting them come at us from midfield. Expect them to score 2nd half so we will need 1 or 2 more ourselves.
