It always stings a little bit more when someone you thought was respectable comes out as a nonce. I thought the first stuff that came out originally whilst deeply inappropriate wasn't illegal and as such it wasn't really anyones business - to see that was just the tip of the iceberg and he really is a creepy b*****d rather than just suffering a mid life crisis and dishing out texts to people of age is disappointing. This was a part I wasn’t sure of because when i was reading about the one who sent Huw the material (Alex Williams) it says he’s a convicted paedophile but he got his suspended back in March of this year so it wasn’t clear if he was already a known beast before contacting Edwards. My initial post that started a bit of an exchange on Friday night was just about the messages and sharing dirty pics part, it wasn’t even about a 40 year age gap in sexual relationships just this creepy sinister idea of sending eachother porn when there’s that sort of an age gap. I defended Huw at start like I said and one of my friends was telling me it’s so obviously that he’s a grubby paedo for the abuse of position, contacting young vulnerable men sending them money etc and it’s very inevitable patterns of behaviour that will only get worse. I apologise - my initial point that velo army defended wasn’t even about the sexual attraction between Huw and a man in his 20’s it was about the exchanging of third party images with someone much younger than him. I agree it's more than weird to be exchanging porn pics with someone so many years his junior but if he had been exchanging similar with someone his own age I'm not sure it would have been any better.
