Hibernian v St. Mirren, Sunday 6/8/23

Recommended Posts

We just couldn't keep up our first half tempo. Olusanya and McMenamin were terrific but ran out of steam. Fair play to Hibs who punished us, the first goal is dreadful from our point of view but it was a lovely worked goal.

Great goal to win the game though, Kiltie's cross was inch perfect and a brilliant header by Greive. Greive was totally unmarked though, Hanlon and Fish cruised the second half but they were very very slack at the goal.

This is why we need all these forwards, it's so important to the way we play that they are chasing everything and defending from the front, but it's hard to keep that up for 90 mins.

Hibs: When you try to kid on your rivals are a laughing stock because "YEEZ DINNAE KEN WHOOZZ IN CHEERGE, KEN!!!" then get pumped off a bunch of waiters and Smurn to kick off your season.

Never change, lads. 😀

I fucking love these c***s.

Mind you were punting that Lee Johnson is a cracking manager? Some take.

Only played any football after Le Fondre came on.

First 60 minutes were utter dogshit.

The defending for Saint Mirrens 3rd goal was Sunday League stuff.

Johnson's first half tactics and team selection should see him fired.

Well done the Paisley Pandas.

Radio Scotland is brilliant listen, I love how bitter Richard Gordon still is about us after all these years.

At least that kunt Michael Stewart wasn’t on with another thinly veiled invite for Hearts to sign Ryan Strain.

Top Bin showing remarkable restraint.  John Collins being John Collins.

McGinn plays every Saturday yet still knows far more than Collins about the teams in the league and how they play.

You'd think seeing as they're essentially paid public money, Collins would feel obliged to do at least the bare minimum of research about the teams he's talking about.

If Stewart is on sportscene tonight I bet you he insists we shouldn't have had the penalty.
