That's why they're the favourites for the tournament. Never under any pressure and the likes of Bellingham and Foden (and Saka who isn't starting tonight) can create chances and Kane can put them away too.

Well, they came close last time, basically have same team this time, but they'll have no home advantage and are due a tougher draw at a tournament at some point.

Bellingham is good, but real shite defending from Scotland the difference. Totally pointless game to have this. Agreeing to the delights of England fans giving it ole.

Plays consistently better for England than Man Utd.

To be fair, bar every second summer when they first play a decent side in the semis or final of an international tournament, he plays against utter jobber nations for England. The Barclays strikers are far superior.

It's weird how much of a banter figure Harry Maguire has become. Aye, he's pretty shit for Man United but he's just a very basic, rough and tumble defender that's mid-Premier League level.

He's basically a considerably better version of Grant Hanley.

The problem was always going to be the size of the transfer fee that Man United paid for him. It put an expectation on him to perform and ultimately a target on his back when things don't go to plan for club or country.

I'd definitely have him in the Scotland team.

Are they managing to polish this particular turd?

Yes they are making it sound like a football match instead of a who can wind up McCoist or Souness first competition

Whos to say? Hes 25, he could win a tournament with them rather than be in one.

I fail to see whose position in the squad he'd take - or even on the fringes. He'd need a few things to go his way which would mean a few big injuries putting paid to the chances of a competition win. He could get 30-40 caps if he comes to the Scotland fold and more importantly, people might remember him when he retires.
