Celtic FC vs Dundee FC - 16/09/23

Recommended Posts

For the first time in a long time, Celtic look like they are actually beatable. We'll no doubt get battered as we tend to do at Parkhead but this is probably our best chance of a result since the Deila era.

Hopefully this follows the early-season pattern of one decent match thread followed by one carcrash, because the Johnnies thread was brain-melting tripe.

I think you hold out a bit too much hope when it comes to our hosts, every thread they are involved with turns into a sectarian cesspit regardless of outcome.

Between the two options, hopefully it's bitter sectarian bile instead of triumphant sectarian bile.

We usually have one game against either of the Bigot Brothers each season where we either get an unlikely point/win or press them really hard and fall to a gallant 2-1 or 1-0 defeat.

Not this time, routine 3 or 4 goal win as Brenda finally gets a decent showing out of his team.

We shouldn't be backing down to these West Coasts fannies. I say that, but we all know that sadly the buses swarm in from all over.

We've got young players looking really good who should be looking to step up in games like such as Beck and Boateng. We have seasoned professionals like Shaugnessy and Carson and McCowan finally finding a bit of consistency (Currently our best player).

Most of all however, we have a manager who should actually be capable of putting together a game plan. Don't get me wrong, i'm not saying i expect us to go there and win but i do expect us to compete to a level right now with anyone in the league.

I'll certainly not be accepting a pummeling straight away in this fixture - i hear tickets have been selling better than expected in the away end.

C'mon the Dee.

Thank you.

You must be new here.
If Celtic get a result, you’ll be furnished with pages of ticket prices, restricted views, over-celebrating and offensive songs. Followed with intellectual debates on terrorists, paedos, crowd influenced referees and worthless glory.

Enjoy.
