subbuteo_paints
I'm sure every football fan over the age of 35, at least in Britain, remembers or has owned a set of Subbuteo at one time. For those in the dark, Subbuteo is a table football game almost like a cross between football, pool and really aggressive tiddlywinks. I've been a fan since I was a kid but only got back into it during lockdown, specifically doing what the 14 year old me didn't have the patience or cash for; trying to have as many teams as possible! I thought I would share that bit of nostalgia with fellow football fans as I paint different teams for the sheer fun of it. I paint over on Twitter (yeah, I'm not calling it X either), recently finishing a few Scottish teams and thought your community might like to see. Drop me a wee follow at @subbuteo_paints as it would really help get my art out there and breathe a bit of life back into an old table favourite! Cheers, subbuteo_paints

Molotov
@subbuteo_paintsyour Scottish national team is a thing of beauty but would be more realistic if you could recreate a balding Archie G and the curly locks of Alan Rough.
Crawford Bridge
Subbuteo was much better to look at than play. Tomy Super Cup was far superior.

Thank you! I've yet to achieve that level of skill on that scale yet did attempt Kenny Dalgleish but the hair is something I'd need to work on

What a player! I admire your talent. Well done! https://www.squadnumbers.com/2017/09/20/scotlands-dalliance-names-shirts-1979-81/

Molotov
@subbuteo_paints if you ever look to recreate the St Mirren kits these are a good resource for the best 20 years of strip design and manufacturers. Red numbers on back on stripes though: https://cairterscorner.com/welcome-to-the-kit-room/the-kit-room-1970-1979/ https://cairterscorner.com/welcome-to-the-kit-room/the-kit-room-1980-1989/

And a bit cheaper than collecting original football tops Numbers on the back (even red on black) would be worth a go and would look great
