an86
Felt that postponement might be beneficial to us. We’re certainly in a better spot than we were for the initial game. If we can get something at Stark’s Park, we can get something here. As with any fixture in this league, anything can happen.

The Toun Clock
Don’t even get your hopes up, no chance this’ll be on. It’s to be wet, it’s to be well below freezing and as we know we now have an issue with the under soil heating. Enjoy going round Ikea or something!

The movie has received lukewarm reviews but the Sacked in the Morning interview with Thomas Rongen about his time managing the worst team in the world is a cracking listen. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/p0gxp28w
Stellaboz
You should watch the documentary for it. Absolutely superb. Plan on going to the cinema next weekend to see the film version.

Am I being whooshed or did you just post an image of a weather forecast clearly showing the weather in Dunfermline will be below zero and then try to claim it won’t “get below zero all week”? You know the number featured at the top is the *highest* temperature expected for the day, yes? It’s going to drop to around minus 4 or 5 during the day on Wednesday, which will feel absolutely baltic.

Go back to school mate. Or ask someone to read the weather forecast for you as its to get below minus pretty much every day from here on and the highs are little above it.

It hardly matters that it dips below zero in the night unless the pitch has been waterlogged and frozen for several days. The windchill is irrelevant (to a pitch). Saturday is high of 8 DegC and nightime low of 5 DegC. From Thursday on it looks fine, and plenty of sun. Things can change.
parsforlife
Don’t know why the weather is being discussed, if mcpake wants it off we’ll have it called off even if he personally needs to shimmy up the floodlights and remove the bulbs

Yeah, it will hardly matter that the pitch has been a frozen tundra with a big f**k off hole in it all week.

Who wants to tell him? Also, Thursday is now expected to never get above freezing temperatures, with a low of -5, according to the BBC. It’s safe to assume our flooded pitch will freeze. Game will be off. Will be rearranged for 10th Feb.
