ExiledLichtie
Must be some huge pressure on Morton for this one. Given that Dick seemed to have that entire club in his personal trophy cabinet, if they can't beat us when the Campbells have left and we are rank bad, when will they ever be able to beat us? -
clashcityrocker
Time to forget about the bad run of results and focus on a new start. I think the players will be focused and up for this - but don't expect many changes in the starting 11. Score prediction: Arbroath 2 - Morton 1.

Leicesterlichtie
The start of a new era today. Obviously needing to take the usual 3 points against Morton. Even if McIntyre hasn't altered much in the short time he's been here, hopefully he's going to manage to get the players up for it. -

Stevie Aitken's Love Child
I must admit to being personally delighted at Dick Campbell's departure. The guy has had our number over the last few seasons Hopefully we can put an end to the Arbroath hoodoo now. Nice to see Strapp back, and an extra week off will have helped with injury recovery for much of our squad which is looking a lot healthier again.

Dunning1874
Would assume that's Wilson and Blues full back, Gillespie and Crawford sitting, McGrattan, Bearne & Muirhead behind Oakley. An absolute must win here. Games where you'd usually look at a draw as a good point need to turn into wins with the ground we've left ourselves to make up, and with Arbroath being one of the few teams who can be reeled back in by one win this is where the turnaround has to start.
The Ghost of B A R P
Team selection from Imrie is, eh, ‘bold’… Key thing though is that McKenna doesn’t play for Arbroath; for all the talk of Campbell having our number, I always felt it was McKenna who had us on his mantelpiece. We’ll soon see.

1320Lichtie
Arbroath went 4-4-2 - wow bold I like it but wonder how it’ll pan out I don’t know how a manager can have too much affect on a team on a terrible run after 2 training sessions mind you Fingers crossed

Dunning1874
Bad as it was from Arbroath to give the ball away in that area of the park, that's a lovely goal from our perspective. Bearne makes the pass look simple but it's an excellent ball, and great finish from McGrattan. We were looking on the ropes a bit for 10 minutes or so before that but have been comfortably the better team since. No doubt going to see Arbroath rally at the start of the second half and I'm still not confident in keeping clean sheets, but we've looked capable of adding another here.

Through all the turmoil of the last 18 months, Morton have been our one constant, our north star, our comfortable 3 points. It'll be interesting to see they can do something against a new manager.
