I thought Craigan said it as he saw it actually. Didn’t need to get out of third gear tonight, against a bang average team.

You've summed it up as succinctly but I wouldn't use the term "average team". Try something like "awful" or "embarrassment of a team". Much more accurate.👍

Very disappointing tonight. Airdrie really have our number and also had Colin Steven's . There should have been way more time added on after Airdrie's time-wasting antics than 5 mins but to be honest we could have played until midnight and not scored.

I can't recognise this team as the same one who won at Tannadice 7 weeks ago.

Sounded like he saw it through a bottle of vodka to be honest.

Before we get carried away I would just like to check with the Raith fans are we allowed to celebrate this time?

Absolutely! The floor is all yours. Just don't get too excited about owning us ...yet! We can still dream about winning the last fixture of this season. Will it happen? The dream will. But the actuality? Naw!

All the best for the final.

Obviously as an EF fan I want Raith to get pumped, but these butcher's aprons in the away end really get on my tits. Almost every other clubs in Scotland supporters would get these wee fannies chased.

Mentioned on the Terrace Podcast by McGuigan that this is Raith’s longest losing run since 2009? Given the investment in the ground & backing of the manager, at what point does Agent Ian Murray’s position come under scrutiny?

On a 3 year deal ....................it'll be a good wee while yet, although the fans might have a say if this shambles isn't sorted

Zack Rudden yellow after 1 min , it could be one of those nights….

Should have been red. No attempt to pay the ball, good only intent was to play the man and did so with a shoulder to the face. Could easily have resulted in a fractured cheek or orbital. Quite simply he's a fucking thug.

Even on here you'll see the more reasonable Airdrie fans defending it, "part of the club's identity whether we all like it or not", "can't tell other people how to show their support" etc.

The simple truth is they're a horrible club and always will be.

I hate the Union flags with a passion but given that they are not offensive or flags of any prescribed organisation I'd defend the right of someone to take it to the football even though I'd prefer they weren't part of our "identity".

People being angry about folks taking them to a game sounds like a them kinda problem.

All I will add to this is that us airdrie fans need to enjoy this whilst it lasts. McCabe is a class act and I can’t see him being round too long if he continues as he is. Best time supporting airdrie in a long time. Great feeling

Great night last night from start to finish.  I thought the performance absolutely deserved the result. Tactics were spot on, even down to the way we utilised that wind in the second half, Raith kept trying to ping balls over the top into a horrendous wind and the back line in the main mopped it up.  As I've mentioned before, I don't mind Raith at all and happy Murray laid the foundations for where we are at the moment, but he really does seem to have been totally out done every time he plays McCabe.

First final WITH the daughter, so looking forward to that 👍♦️

Out of all the games we have lost in this unfortunate 'run', that one mad me the most angry. 100% Airdrie deserved to win, and I have no complaints about that. In actual fact - well done & good luck for the rest of the competition.

I felt that Airdrie didn't need to even be particularly good, because we were particularly poor.

The goal was absolutely criminal and it comes down to what we have all been saying - defence, or lack of. Our levels of, and quality of possession for a home game was absolutely atrocious and completely unacceptable.

I struggled at times to understand what formation we were actually playing. Are we just giving certain players 100% free reign to do what they want? The tempo was all wrong too. We have better players (on paper), how were we unable to get the ball down, keep it and dictate the pace? I know Airdrie have a young and enthusiastic team, but surely we have enough experience that should have coped with it.

On a very slight positive, I did feel there was snippets of Dylan Easton's play that we haven't seen in a while returning - things like better ball control and better thinking. But that is not at the level it once was.

If Ian Murray can get the team to keep it's shape and actually gel again (I get the feeling that the team is not as close as they were), I feel we can get off this ridiculous run. It's just how do you do that?

Mate, you could have got 5 hours and you would never have scored

Steven was quite lenient on Raith last night I thought. Easton should’ve been sent off for a clear headbutt and Connolly looked like he kicked out at someone in the corner near the end.
